"Great hotel in a great part of Hamburg"
We stayed here as a couple plus another friend having read reviews on a couple of sites and our friend had stayed at the 25hours in Vienna and recommended it. We prefer places to stay with something different about them; not too benign as so many places are. 25hours Hafencity lived up to that. Fantastic atmosphere, decor and real thought has gone into the hotel and how it feels and flows. The restaurant/ bar was actually so popular on the Saturday night we couldn't get in for a drink! We ate and drank there the next night and it was excellent. No complaints. The rooms were really well laid out, pretty spacious compared to others I've been to. Great shower, comfortable beds and crisp white linen. Our experience was excellent and I would look to stay in another 25hours hotel again based on this. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The Elbphilharmonie building has only just opened and is a five minute walk from the hotel and well worth going up onto the plaza for a wonderful view of Hamburg. Don't miss it!
The hotel has modern rooms and a cool restaurant with bar. on our arrival day we even had a very cool life music band there. We can easily explore the harbour from there as well as the city. It becomes very quiet in the evening. Very good hotel with good hospitality.
"New Years Stay "
My husband and I stayed here for a couple of nights over the new year. 25 hours is a beautifully designed hotel, very clean in a great location with lots of quirky touches. Our room was a little small but well designed, cool wallpaper and nice touches like the Bluetooth speaker, globe light and some great magazines and books. We ate in the restaurant one night which was very good, great service, nice atmosphere and a focus on local products, it was quite pricey though. I also particular like the area on level 2 - the vinyl room and lounge which is a great area to have a drink.
"Steals money from your room."
Spent an oval weekend with some friends. The hotel was nice and the rooms was great. On the day of departure i discovered that around 250 € in norwegian currency was missing from my dressingcase. The hotel said that after investigating the case they came up with nothing, so the trip got alot more expensive, and the kids got nada in cominghome present. No good.
"Kinda quirky but nice"
I liked it. It has a very nautical theme to the whole place which makes it quirky but still quite luxurious. Their website doesn't do it justice. The breakfast and restaurant are fairly standard and ok but nothing special.
