"Not as good as expected"
This was my second visit. My room had a great view and had all the facilities you would expect including excellent, free wifi. However, it looked a little tired. The car park is not easy to find and is limited in parking spaces. However, I was able to leave my car there for most of the following day at no extra cost. Although the service in the restaurant could not be faulted, dinnner was rather pretentious, disappointing and pricey. Breakfast was excellent
Mixed feelings about this stay, the web/site says to call if you want to reserve a parking spot, I did but was told that that is not necessary, upon arrival of course there was no spot available and there is no alternative either, only after 15 minutes I saw somebody leaving so I was able to take his spot. Bad start. Then on check in it turned out that there was a mistake made and my room was booked as a no show and already given to someone else... hence they had to go through the booking process again, all took a long time. Rooms are nice and well equiped. It´s however not possible to take a shower without flooding the entire bath room. Dangerous and annoying. Early breakfast is not possible, only as of 7am which is quite late on a working day. Hotel looks nice and good standard but the experience was at its best average....

Booked last minute as we was going the zoo the next day and to avoid travelling in the morning, good priced room in a great location! Great view of Chester racecourse from your room,nice and clean staff were nice and helpful, also hotel really looks the part has a good modern look.
went to the abode hotel yesterday, went into the lounge bar and had drinks and something to eat, the staff were excellent and it is a nice place to have something to eat, but the food wasn't what we expected and because off that we wouldn't eat there again, especially for the price as its not cheap, you live and learn so that's one we wont go to in the future, or recommend to our friends, but as we said the staff were really good,
For the money they charge they offer zero customer service and are just awful. 1 towel between 2 customers, 1 room key between 2 people which when you need 1 for the room electrics and 1 for the loft access not good!!! Taking a shower is like a swimming pool and they don't advise you of the parking charge prior to your stay just slam you with a £12 charge on departure. Also very rude staff who really don't care if you enjoyed your stay or not!!
