Ideally located in one of the best areas of Madrid, on the Paseo de la Castellana, the AC Aitana hotel is next to the Santiago Bernabéu football stadium, just 8mn by car from the Prado Museum, 13km from the Madrid-Barajas Airport and only 500m from Gregorio Marañon metro station.

"Comfortable and clean"
A little away from the city centre, but close to the conference venue we were attending and under 30 minutes by metro into town. The reception staff were helpful and courteous and the room was very quiet as requested (712). Unusually these days the window could be fully opened to cool the room temperature if/when needed. Bed very comfortable, WiFi very effective and an in-room safe was provided (although it was located at floor level, not the easiest location). Minor improvements could be the inclusion of a lavatory brush and the provision of hand tissues. Bar prices very reasonable for a hotel of this calibre.
This hotel is situated on the outskirts of Madrid close to Real Madrid´s football stadium. Public transport is very good metro and buses. The only comment is that the hotel is close to a very busy main road and the traffic noise is constant. Triple glazing is recommended
"Great hotel, slightly outside the main part of Madrid"
This is a comfortable, quiet hotel that is perfect for business trips or for anyone who wants to stay close to the Real Madrid Stadium (Estadio Santiago Bernabéu). There is decent food in the hotel, a fitness center, a modern room, and comfortable bed. I was in town for business, so I stayed close to the office. The hotel is about a 20 minute train ride or a 10-15 cab ride to the center of town. I arrived on a Sunday and many restaurants and stores in the area were closed because this hotel is not in the city center. If you're less worried about location, this is a quality hotel for the price.
"Comfort, perfect connection to city center "
I stayed 3 nights in this hotel, quite outside the center and close to the Real Madrid stadium, totally well connected to the center through busses and metro very close (around 15-20'away). The first floor is influenced by the traffic in term of noise. Good breakfast, wide choice. Helpfulf personnel. No carpets! Perfect for allergies to dust. Very clean! Wide TV with a lot of channels from the word. Quality of amenities could be better. Restaurant not tried, just an expensive coffee (3,5€). I'd return
"Good for business trips"
I have stayed here twice while on short business trips to Madrid. The hotel offers great value compared to the other ones located in the vicinity. It has been renovated, the rooms are comfortable and clean, albeit a bit dark if you get one of the ones that face the inner courtyard. The mattresses could be firmer, but are acceptable if you are only staying for a couple of nights. The breakfast is well worth it, if already included in your room rate. Otherwise, the EUR 22 breakfast buffet is a bit on the pricey side unless you are blessed with a ravenous appetite in the morning. Rooms should have a safety box for guests. When visiting in the fall, when the weather can be unpredictable, be aware that the hotel AC heater centralized system only operates in one single mode, i.e., if management sets it for AC, you only get AC, if it sets it to heater mode, you can only get heat. A bit of a nuisance in this last visit, when the weather was unseasonably warm in October and only the heat was working, thus requiring me to leave the windows open so I could lower the temperature in the room.
