"Spot of luxury in between copenhagen and the airport"
A cancelled flight brought me here for an extra night in copenhagen. A real inconvenience, but was wowed by design of the building, as well as the attention to detail everywhere. Staff was friendly and helpful, the room a dream with lovely danish designed furniture. The bathroom swanky with top noth produce and speakers from the television. The bed and bedlinen so good that i nearly missed breakfast the next morning. Only complaint woukd be the fact that they started clearing the food away too quickly. Would have loved another pancake or piece of spinach quiche! As the airline paid, I have no idea of value for money. Ps there is a half hourly airport shuttle service costing a mere 15 d.kr.
"Funky and Professional"
The reason why I chose the title of this review is because the hotel was previously independently owned, so has a funky/alternative undertone, but since it is now part of the Marriot hotel chain, it has a corporate professional feel. The location and proximity to conference centre/meeting rooms makes this hotel more appealing as a business hotel rather than tourist accommodation. Having said this, the Metro train is nearby within a 10 minute walk and about a 15 min trip into the city and is therefore close to the attractions. The cost of a single train ride was ~24 Krones at the time of our stay. It is close to the airport, but not quite an airport hotel at around a 15 minute taxi ride. There is not much around the hotel but close to public transport into the city. The check in and restaurant staff were very professional and helpful providing advice/recommendations, and tips on where to go and what to see. The room bed was two single bases joined together and a thin mattress on top, which resembled a cross between a futon and an Ikea bed, which while wasn’t the most comfortable bed as it caused slight back pain if slept on too long, it was surprisingly alright. What were more annoying were the two single duvets that were provided, which inevitably meant you were left in the middle of both with none. The room was average in size which was of concern since we had upgraded to a larger room, but since the hotel was modern and the trend with newer places tends to be smaller. The shower/bath was a good size in a new bathroom, but the shower head was one of those water savers and not my preference. The included toiletries quality and provided tea/coffee were pretty basic. They were acceptable, but just less than my expectation. For example, only three travel tissues were provided. Air conditioning was quiet, and kept the room at a good temperature. A flat screen television was also in the room, but only had three English language, news channels available. The room was kept clean. However housekeeping was sporadic with the restocking of supplies, which was slightly annoying on a couple of days. The hotel has three restaurants, two bars (sky and lobby), 24hr gym (included) and a pay for use spa/pool facility. This included a small heated pool, saunas (dry and wet), rain water showers and ice pool which were a welcome relief after a long day exploring Copenhagen provided you made it back before it closed at 10pm. However I would say perhaps not worth the extra money if you had to pay (we got it included with offer). But at least this meant it wasn't too crowded because of this. The Balcony restaurant was sensational. We had the Chateau Briand which was smoked and came with cheesy potato mash. The waiter paired the meal perfectly with a fantastic wine. Highly recommend eating here. The Sky bar was a nice place to go for a sunset drink or night cap as it was open late and the views from up top were amazing. The gym was modern and had all the equipment you’d expect. A couple of machines were broken down during our visit which was a surprise as they weren’t that old. Since the hotel is more of a business rather than tourist hotel and because it is slightly out of town, during off-peak times, you can snap up a great bargain on a room. Be aware that not all rooms have baths, which if it is important to you, you may want to consider an upgrade. We booked through an airline promotion package, but they had booked us in separate beds, so we had to upgrade to get a better room. I would further investigate what room options are available, but given the modern, clean hotel, good quality food, helpful staff and overall value I would consider staying here again.
"Thank you for those honest people:)"

"Not at 4 star level"
Clean rooms with a fantastic city view. Nice big breakfast buffet at a reasonable price. And the Sky bar on 23rd floor was really nice. Unfortunately it took one hour to get the third bed in our room even though we checked-in quite late (4:30 pm). Even though this is a rather expensive hotel we had to pay for the parking. I suggest that the hotel just increase the price and do not charge for the parking - it would increase the customer experience. A little too many people at the breakfast buffet when we were there around 9am.
"Out of this world hotel"
We were lucky enough to stay at this hotel for two nights from checkin to checkout our stay was amazing the hotel is stunning in every way and all the staff we came in to contact with were outstanding I'd like to name two in particular which was our receptionist on checkin tall chap with mousey blonde hair who explained in great detail the hotel and made us feel straight away we were going to have an amazing stay.
