AC Madrid Feria offers direct access to the IFEMA fairground, the Municipal Congress Palace, Barajas Airport, the city center by the highway M-40 (exit 5) and the Metro station (San Lorenzo).
Around 20 mts from airport. Stayed just for a night. Friendly staff. 10 to 15 mts drive to many indian restaurants. Pls arrange taxi from hotel and they would be there quick as we could not find taxis outside, probably becz it was 10 pm. Book a taxi from hotel if you are going to airport early morning and the taxi will be waiting for you.
It's an Hotel near a business park. In the evening there's nothing in the surroundings. The room are good enough to spend one or nights, the wifi was good and a large tv in the room. The breakfast was also good with many different things to taste. The coffee is Nespresso and for me this is a must.
"Nice layover modern hotel..."
It's a nice layover modern hotel to stay and get some rest after a long flight. The closest metro station is San Lorenzo which is approximately 5-10 minutes walk. There are mostly business offices around the hotel. If you want to go to central Madrid, take the metro at San Lorenzo station then transfer at Goya and get off at Sol. Overall, It is a nice modern hotel for business traveler away from tourist attractions.
Strange how every week they cut the internet access and room tv, I guess they don't trust anyone. Breakfast is fine but they always run out if fried eggs, l wonder if it normal to serve cold baked beans for breakfast, no one complains. The rooms are good but don't touch the laundry service unless someone else is paying. The location is great for the airport but a good walk to the Metro station, although the bus is on the door step, as long as you can speak Spanish, if not keep notes in your back where to go in Spanish.
"Frequent stays as business traveller"
I stayed at this hotel at least twice/month over a 3 year period, for business. Found the staff to be very accommodating, speaking excellent English and helpful with any requests I made. Rooms are small, but very comfortable, clean and minimal in decoration. Excellent air conditioning or heating when needed. Great showers and bathroom. Dined there frequently and found the dinner menu to be varied and seasonal. Breakfast was typical continental but of a high quality - great coffee, wonderful array of fruit. A la Carte ordering available if requested. Good free Wifi as I had Marriot loyalty points on that level, but otherwise you pay for it. TV is OK - BBC World and CNN/Bloomberg were english language choices. Overall a very comfortable hotel, located in the heart of the business district (off the tourist track).
