AC Milano is located in the financial center of Milan, just steps away from the Garibaldi station, the Teatro Alla Scala, the Cimitero Monumental and Corso Como, the street of design in Milan.

"Average feel comparing within the Marriott group chain"
First of all, I had stayed in 5 different hotels in the past 3 weeks within USA and through out Europe, I feel I have to clarify that the breakfast is really not that special in AC Hotel Milan, they serve the typical ranges of breads, sausages, bacon, hams, scramble eggs, boiled eggs, cheeses, yogurts, drinks and coffee, with room rates at almost €200 per night for one person(breakfast not included as its free for gold members), I would definitely be expecting at least to have more hot foods. Location is pretty okay for business stays, but the wall is really thin you can hear a lot of sounds & noises from the next rooms, as well as water drainage noises from ceiling, noise issue is big problem. Shower water goes very hot sometimes so be aware when giving bath to children. No facial tissue box in the room, another thing you would expect for staying in such room rates. Most front desk, bar and restaurant are friendly.
We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. Positives: - The room is spacious and clean - The continental breakfast included a few hot items - scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, sausages and bacon. - It is next to one of the many exits to Garibaldi station (see observations below) - A few minutes walk from the busy Corso Como and Corso Garibaldi (opposite Garibaldi station) street where there are loads of restaurants. - The wifi is reliable Negatives: - There is no kettle (which means no tea making facilities) in room, so if want to hot water, best to bring a flask and ask the bar to fill for you, or you could do it in the morning using the coffee machines when you have you breakfast. - The outside street leading to the hotel from Garibaldi station is quite run down so I guess one can feel a bit unsafe after dark. Observations: - In terms of convenience of location, this is great. it is next to the Garibaldi Metro and train station. - If you arrive at Malpensa airport, their is a direct train to Garibaldi station. There are two trains an hour and take around 50 minutes. In terms of getting from Garibaldi station to the hotel, there is an exit that leads straight to the outside of the hotel. We believe that there is an exit at the back of the train platform that will lead you straight to that exit but we never had time to check. - There are numerous exits at the station and the station itself is like a maze, so if you rather just take the most direct route and leave the exit searching after you have dropped your bags off at the hotel, then best to head to the front of the station. Once you exit the station, turn right and you will see the AXA building opposite the road, which you will need cross over. Once over, with the AXA building on your left, you will see the hotel about a couple of hundred metres away. - There is a supermarket in the basement of Garibaldi station. We believe that this is the closest supermarket to the hotel.
"Italian Vacation "
Very nice modern Hotel. Staff is friendly and very helpful. 15 min walking distance from major attractions but train station is right outside the door. Rooms are modern, bar and restaurant are located in the lobby. Could use more toiletries.
"Comfortable and Convenient"
AC Hotel Milan was a close taxi ride from the Central Train station. We had to take the tram to city center, (@15min) but it was semi easy to navigate. The room was a nice size, especially for a European hotel, and a very comfortable bed! The staff was very helpful, and gave recommendations for shopping, dining, etc. AC Hotel is also close to the train to get to the MXP airport, so it was very convenient for our 1 night stay in Milan!
"Good location at decent prices"
Modern hotel, friendly staff, small but decent parking on premises, excellent breakfast buffet, superb location near Corso Como and Porta Garibaldi railway station, convenient way out of the city without entering restricted areas.
