AC Milano is located in the financial center of Milan, just steps away from the Garibaldi station, the Teatro Alla Scala, the Cimitero Monumental and Corso Como, the street of design in Milan.
Excellent sous tous rapports. Personnel hyper sympa.Comment of D. Christian , Belgium the 2015-02-24
Second time stay in this hotel. Simple, correctly priced, good equipped. It is what it is. Breakfast basic but has all necessary. They got room ready before check in, i appreciate it a lot. I would recommend this place.
"Literally right by Garibaldi Station, great stopover"
Sometimes when travelling, we arrive late and leave early. This is the perfect hotel for that. It is one of the new style Marriotts, stripped down in terms of amenities, but very nice. Clean very comfortable room, nice bar downstairs, no food that I could discern. Many, many restaurants closeby although the one the concierge recommended was "gonzo" and loud. Would stay here again for stopover and convenience.
"Nice modern hotel"
Stayed a couple of nights at this hotel. It's not too central but right next to Garibaldi station and not too far from Central station, so well connected. The hotel is modern with good size rooms. The WiFi worked reliably which is always nice. There was something off with room lighting though, it always felt darker than it should, especially when I wanted to work. Also, I could hear the drunk people next room late at night, which wasn't so nice. I tried their restaurant once, I was pleased with the quality and price.
"Neat location, Far from the Marriott Experience."
Considering the often exorbitant prices of luxury and design hotels in Milan, I've decided to go with the AC Hotels by Marriott for 4 nights. Am disappointed with my worst Marriott service experience. The Pluses - Good proximity to Corso Como and the Garibaldi M2 Metro station, within 5mins walk from the Hotel. The urban/suburban line is located directly at the entrance of the Hotel. Adjacent to the 10 Corso Como outlet store. Bed and pillows are one of the more comfortable I've had in Europe. Wifi is free but needs logging in every 3 days. Rooms are decently sized. Ask for a room on a high floor for a view of the Milan Skyline in Porta Nuova. It is also fun as my housekeeper has a quirky sense of humour and likes to experiment laying out the items on my bedside table and the toiletries on the daily. The Minuses - Rooms are not soundproofed - You can here the trotting along the corridor and room doors opening and closing in the middle of the night. Drainage at the toilet is poor and slow, the shower floods. Sheets were dirty - Mine had dry blood stains on the duvet cover and it is evident that they did not change the cover throughout the period of stay. The wallpaper is peeling. Service is lukewarm and the staff at the reception are curt at best. Had some rather bad customer service experience over the phone.
"AC Milan is a nice hotel, convenient to the Metro with good service!"
This is a modestly priced hotel (for Milan) that is in a convenient place, in my opinion. It is near the train station Porto Garibaldi, which is one of the main train stations in Milan, only two stops from the primary train station - Milan Centrale. The hotel has the expected facilities including a restaurant serving breakfast, which is served on the floor above the reception area - mezzanine area up the stairs. The room we had was quite large for Europe, included a large bed (maybe even king size), and a nice bathroom. The room has wood flooring and is very clean. It was also relatively quiet, but we could hear people outside the door when they came in. The hotel location is a great selling point, in my opinion. We felt is was very handy near this train station. Once you get your bearings on where it is - there is an underground tunnel that you can navigate from the station to an exit that is literally a few feet from the entrance (we didn't know that until after we walked outside!!). Once we got it, it was excellent to get to anywhere on the Metro. The Malpensa (airport) Express also picks up at Garibaldi, so again the convenience is very nice.
