Very nice hotel, clean and hospitable. Walking distance to all the local points of interest and night life. Right on the shore, so very nice walks along the sea were enjoyable. Great for jogging and biking with wonder views.Comment of G. Thomas , United States the 2015-01-19
"Again nice visit"
Staff where helpfull and friendly. It was again nice to visit hotel. Breakfast is good quality and there where some bio products also available. Room was clean and location is just great for visiting nice by foot. There where some small details in room that i reported to staff and they did plan to fix those, but all and all very good hotel to stay. I can recommend this hotel.
"Great stay by the promenade"
We really enjoyed our 5 night stay at this hotel and felt it was located well to access most places in Nice. The staff were all friendly and helpful, with special mentions to Sophia (reservations manager) who was on hand to help us when our third party company had messed our booking up. Sophia sorted this out immediately and even upgraded our room for our trouble. The breakfast buffet was great and Annemarie and the catering team were able to cater for a gluten free diet as I am a coeliac. I was able to get gluten free bread and cereal everyday. The rooms were clean and spacious with good showers. The only slight downside was having to sign up to the Marriot rewards scheme to access wifi in your rooms (free public wifi available in lobby only), but only a small negative in the grand scheme of things. On the whole would recommend this hotel and would not hesitate in staying again if visiting Nice.
"Beautiful room and friendly service"
We spent the night in Nice to explore Nice, Monaco and Eze before heading back to Paris the following evening. Service: The employees were very friendly and helpful. We arrived early from Paris and they got us checked in and although our room wasn't ready they, worked to have it cleaned while we were out walking around. They offered great suggestions and helped us get to where we needed to go. On the second day, we had already checked out, but were able to store our bag while we were out. Location: The hotel is a few feet away from the Promenade de Anglais and a number of bus stops, which were some of the easiest to use and navigate that I've encountered in Europe. Room: We had a room with a partial ocean view we didn't spend much time in the room but having the view when we woke up was spectacular. I've only stayed in one other AC hotel which was beautiful as well. The hotel and rooms have more of a clean modern feel to them. When we left we wished we had at least another night here, great hotel!
"Great Location and Very Good"
The hotel is relatively new compared to other hotels in Nice and is a great location. It is 50 metres from the beach. 15 minute walk to Gare de Nice and 20 minute walk to the old town. Other than a seriously hot day, the only way to appreciate Nice is to walk. The front desk staff were very good with ideas and were genuinely interested in assisting. The lounge area is spacious. While the menu is not large the meals are fine. The breakfast while not a 5 star buffet was still good.
"Good value for your money"
A nice hotel lobby with great staff being very friendly and helpful right from check in until check out. The room had a great side view of the ocean, it was big and the beds are very comfortable. Bathroom was spacious. A walk into the city along the promenade (with the ocean breaking its wave next to you) is about 15 min. The airport is not even 10 min away with the bus.
