Far away from any known spots of city, this hotel is not to be tried again. Rooms are too small without coffee n tea maker and drinking water. Breakfast has few choice for veggies. Was afraid to enter the lifts as they felt unsafe owing to strong jerks. To be avoided.
"A Marriott disgrace!"
Again the usual business hotel model: Hotel Owners and Management that really do not care. Just pay for a nice design at the lobby area to look interesting on the web site and everything else sucks. I could not imagine that a Marriott hotel could be that bad. First day the room smelt really bad from the toilet. Could not understand why, but when I opened the tab all water run under the sink and on my feet! How can you not notice it' Room very noisy. Service not speaking English. Breakfast ridiculous.
It does not appear that being a platinum elite member has any special privileges, such as room upgrades. I used points for this hotel, as a layover point. It is sufficient for a short stay. Not long after our arrival, two bus loads of tourist arrived and instantly took-over the dining area. Which made it difficult to get the attention of someone to order a beer, as they were busy attending to the others.
"Everything is okay"
The rooms are nice, a good size with a large bathroom and an excellent shower with thick towels. There is easy free parking right in front on the street. The wifi works well both in the room and the lobby. However, the air conditioning in the rooms sucks, and the breakfast is sufficient. Strangely, the shampoo and body gel are exactly the same stuff. All in all, though, good value for the money.
"Not a place I'd stay again"
We booked a room for 1 night at the end of our 2 weeks in Andalusia because it was near the airport for dropping off our hire car and flying out the next morning. Taxi fair from airport to hotel was 22 euros which I thought was exorbitant for a 10 minute journey, but the 34 euro fare the next morning to the airport was scandalous!! Apart from that, the hotel was clean, but very dark in the corridors and understaffed. We had to ask someone to open the bar at 8 pm and only 2 people seemed to be waiting in a busy restaurant and serving in the lounge area, the fitness area was shut and so was the pool. The cost was the only thing that was reasonable about the place. We might as well as stayed in the middle of Seville as the taxi fares were a standard charge from the airport to Seville at least then we might have got our money's worth.
