"ok for short stay"
far from historical center, room was clean, very small ants in bathroom at night, sink was partly clogged. breakfast buffet was ok but did not have many choices, lady in charge for breakfast was not friendly.
Not in downtown. Just okay breakfast nothing like other Marriott. No egg on breakfast. Basically all cold stuff for breakfast except coffee or milk. I would prefer other hotels in down town. Just a normal hotel.
"Good choice "
Spent 6 nights at the hotel visiting friends here in Seville despite other reviews I think the location is ok you can take number 3 bus to central which takes 10 mins of a taxi or nice walk 30 mins it is good modern hotel very comfortable and value for money staff polite and not intrusive I would recommend it to book this hotel at the 4 star rating with Bfast included then same price central 1 star hostel for same price ... only suggestion is to maybe have some warm eggs at breakfast otherwise great stay !
"Just awful! "
Our family is currently staying at this hotel. We are traveling with a 3 year old and a 6 month old baby. Let me first say that my husband has platinum status with Marriott because he lives in Marriott hotels Monday through Friday. With that said, he spends about $50,000 a year at Marriott. We also stay at Marriott hotels on our family vacations and we have had bad and good experiences. However, this hotel is a disgrace! This morning when we wanted to get breakfast we were told by a lady who appeared to be a manager that our 3 year old needs to pay $4 for breakfast. Knowing Marriott policy (apparently better than their own employees) that didn't sound right. My husband got up, walked up to the menu display at the entrance and read that children her age do not pay. No problem, we'll direct them to where to find the information they lack. After breakfast we got ready to go and my husband grabbed a 11oz bottle of water because our three year old was thirsty. All of sudden, we heard screaming across the hall from the same lady/manager that the water is not free at 11:20 am but from 12-6pm. Seriously'! Screaming across the hotel for 10 cents worth of a tiny water bottle' Wow! Shameful! We do not mind paying 10 cents for a tiny water bottle, Marriott, but please train your employees not to scream at their guest across the hotel when they are trying to communicate. As I said, the water bottle is free anyway from 12-6pm which makes inconsideration on her part even worse. It's a tiny water bottle for a 3 year old for God sake! Besides the disgraceful behavior and lack of professionalism of the hotel's employees, it's probably worth mentioning that the hotel's location is far from the center. Also, if you're a woman and need to wash your hair, make sure you bring your own hair conditioner. Unlike Courtyard and other lower category hotels, AC Sevilla Torneo has never heard of hair conditioner in the bathrooms!
The hotel was very clean and modern. Can't fault the hotel itself, just not the best location. Possibly used more by business clients, not to central for tourist visitors. We drove up from Marbella, parking not an issue.
