"Great location. Lovely staff. Safe hood."
The hotel is clean and efficient. The hotel staff were very accommodating. I love a good lobby sit, and while it is tiny, the fire (albeit fake) was blazing upon request and the resto served meals there if requested. There are few restos in the area and the sites are a hike away but the main railway is close. Though the hotel experience was great I still can't get past the cold, unfriendly Berliners. The cab drivers are rude and unhelpful and overall one gets the impression Berlin would prefer we just stayed home. We carried on seeing the sites that interested us but won't be in a rush to return to this city. Ever.
"Great Prices, Great Stay"
We stayed here for a week! The breakfast was great - worth every penny to include it in your stay. The room had wine openers, plates, and coffee for you to keep some food in the room. Would definitely stay here again!
"Good location. Big rooms. Friendly staff."
The hotel is good located and the rooms are quite large. We've stayed on a triple room with a very uncomfortable sofa bed for the third guest. The room is very clean and well equiped, but the amenities were not refilled properly during our stay. The staff is very friendly and helpfull.
"Comfortable, pleasant stay."
We chose the Adina Hauptbahnhof due to what we thought was a central walk-able location. I don't know if it is just us but it wasn't really central to much other than the main station. The Brandenburg Gate was about half hour walk, and there weren't really any shops/restaurants close by. Having said that it was quiet, and I would seriously consider staying here again if in Berlin due to rooms and the staff. The front desk staff were amazing and went above and beyond to assist us. They moved us without fuss when I indicated we needed a room with a washing machine/dryer. Cecily (I think that was it sorry for bad memory) was really kind and helpful, I was quite sick with a cold and she was attentive and caring even offering me mint tea to help soothe my symptoms. We had been waiting for an important parcel to arrive which hadn't shown by the time we checked out, and the reception staff took all our details of the hotel in Greece we would be staying at and arranged to forward it to us there once it arrived. When we got to Greece it was there waiting for us as promised. The breakfast spread was plentiful, they even had Vegemite which was a welcome addition for a homesick (and sick) Aussie. The rooms were large and very well appointed, most importantly very clean.
"Fantastic trip to berlin"
We stayed for 3 nights at the adina apartments last week. They were fantastic, very clean and comfortable and the friendliest, most helpful staff in Berlin. We had a studio with a balcony and the bed was really comfy. It is a 5 minute walk to the train/underground and the hop on hop off bus and the tram stops just outside the hotel (round the corner). The pool was great and although slightly cold, very refreshing after a days walking. We went to the restaurant for dinner and it was very nice although I think there could have been more choice. Again the staff was fantastic. There is an Italian restaurant across the road which was great, well worth a visit and very reasonably priced. I agree with others that the choices at night were limited and you had to walk a bit to find anywhere to eat but overall, I thought the hotel and location were perfect for us.
