"A few days in the capital with kids"
The main reason we've booked Adina was availability of a two-room accommodation and central location. We were not disappointed. The hotel is very close to the main train station (Berlin Hauptbahnhof), although it makes sense to take a tram if you have luggage. Still, it's just one stop and the trams go very frequently. From the hotel you can either walk or use public transportation to most places of interest such as Alexanderplatz, Brandenburger Tor, Reichstag, Unter den Linden, etc. The hotel is clean, our room had windows in a courtyard and was very quiet and comfortable. Breakfast (15 Euros per adult if you book it at the day of arrival at reception - children eat free) is quite ok, enough to get a good start for a day. O, and they have a free WiFi now. It also makes sense to buy a Berlin Welcome Card. It costs about 20 Euros for 48 hours for an adult (a child travels free) or 27.50 for 72 hours. Best of all - the time starts ticking from the moment you use public transportation - you need to stamp the card in a tram, bus or subway train. It also has quite a few partners offering discounted rates on food or sightseeing tickets (you'll get the details in a booklet). We bought our cards at the train station.
"Home from home in central Berlin"
An excellent apartment hotel near to main station and all tourist attractions. Superb customer service. High quality rooms.with a superior level of cleanliness. Very good and quiet location but only a few minutes from the underground and rail system.
This was my first time staying in an apartment hotel and for me it works. It offered basic kitchen facilities but that didn't detract from the standard of the room, and indeed offers more space. The room was comfortable and clean. We didn't eat breakfast there as they were charging 19 euros! There is a really good cafe which opens for breakfast on the corner of the street. The hotel is within walking distance of the main station but is a fair way from Unter den Linden and main attractions.
"Berlin Apartments near main train station"
The location of the apartment being a 5-8 minute walk from the station was awesome The apartment we had was spacious and a nice change from hotel rooms Great place to stay and less than 2km from the main attractions which is a great walk to start any day
"A beautiful property in a great location"
Walking into this hotel we felt at once both welcome and fancy! This is a modern hotel with (new) free Wi-Fi, a fantastic restaurant (try the schnitzel, it's wonderful), and spacious rooms. Ours was a studio apartment room; the bathroom was large and clean, we had a perfect little kitchen stocked with dishes and mini-bar, and the living area was very comfortable. We had temperature control in the room and laundry in the bathroom. Housekeeping was excellent and the front desk staff were very helpful. The pool was a little underwhelming, especially if there were more than 2 people in it at a time, but the sauna and change areas were very well-maintained. We were happy to have beers at the bar, and the location near Berlin Hauptbahnhof was very convenient. It was 45 euros to take a cab from the hotel to Schonenfeld airport, but as tourists walking around the city- we could walk everywhere in a very short time. Public transit can be confusing, but we felt lucky that we could walk so easily to many main attractions in the city. A Lidl grocery store is about a 5 minute walk away and had everything you need (beer, sausages, milk, pretzels, etc) to stock your room's fridge for your stay. We would love to return.
