We stayed at the Adriana for 4 nights so that we could finalize wedding details for our daughter's wedding at one of the Adriana's sister hotels. Our see facing room was ample and well equipped and furnished with a stunning view across the harbor. The bathroom, whilst not being huge, was well equipped and functional. The service was first class including fluffy bathrobes and slippers. The roof top bar was excellent with magnificent views and atmosphere. The roof top salt water pool was clean and invigorating with a more than ample supply of clean, fresh bath towels. Breakfast on the terrace was very appetizing with a huge choice for all tastes (healthy and naughty).
"Location, breakfast, views - enticing!"
Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay at your hotel. Between the comfortable bed, stylish furnishings and great shower we were very relaxed. Service was efficient and friendly. Pool was special but our favorite was the breakfast. It was a feast for the eyes and for the stomach. Other delights included 4th floor bar, desserts and location.
Even though some reviews were not favorable, we chose to stay at this hotel because of the Spa and location. We were very pleased with the experience. It is a rather small hotel, small room, but with a grand view of the harbor. Bathroom was a little cramped but well stocked. Breakfast buffet was copious, anything you could want in the morning, and on the outside terrace facing the harbor. My husband had a thai massage in the spa and said it was a real thai massage! Spa very nice too, with a salt water indoor pool. I arranged for airport/ catamaran transfer, and everything went well. I recommend if you plan to come here to do the same to avoid any hassle. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Get a harbor view room. I'm glad we chose this hotel for our stay
"Going to be a bit harsh here....."
We were on a brief visit to Hvar town on our day catamaran trip from Split and after wandering about the town we decided , as a wee treat, to go up to the Top Bar just for a drink, a sit down, and a chance to take in the lovely view. So up we went via the lift then the final stairs to the top level, where we sat down and waited.....and waited... and waited. Eventually a member of staff appeared and we ordered. Withe time being limited I asked how long it would take them to rustle up the cheese and local ham platter ...10/15 minutes. Again though we waited and waited . Now this was a not busy time of year, being end of September ....the only other customers in the place were a small group of our fellow catamaran passengers, so lack of attention to whether there are customers in the place who might wish to order ( what the place is all about surely) left us having to eat the admittedly very nice platter ( needed to be nice as not particularly cheap ...to be expected for the level of place ) more quickly than we would have wished. Moral of the story here .....a top hotel needs to be top in everything it does to justify its pricing ...dont leave customers ignored wondering whether anyone is coming to attend to you. Attention to customer presence , 2 out of 10 . Nice platter , 8.5 out of 10
We had a very disappointing stay here. Our room had a pungent, sewage-like smell coming from the drain in the shower/bathroom, which pervaded our room and even a little into the hallway. Opening the windows helped, but it was chilly, so when we closed the windows, it came back. The hotel staff tried spraying the room and also gave us another room, but they gave us the room directly above our 2nd floor room -- and while the smell was somewhat better, it was still there. Both rooms were also very small, with only glass walls separating the bathroom from the sleeping area. The hotel's setting on the water is quite nice and the breakfast buffet was excellent. However, not a place I would recommend.
