"Terrible Spa day"
On the 3rd of December 2016 we had a girls spa day at 15 on Orange. It was the worst spa and service I have EVER experienced! When we arrived the receptionist behind the desk did'nt even greet us. No welcoming, offering of water, telling us were we can leave our bags or if we may use the pool. Not informing us what's going on... Who can go for treatments first and what should the rest of us do' The gelish pedicure I recieved was fine... Some of the other girls had to take their nail varnish off afterwards because it look so terrible! The theripast mentioned that she was fresh out of school and finished with her studies the week before. 4 of us had head massages... Terrible! They did'nt even use oil or worked on your neck. When one of the girls complained afterwards the staff was rude and ignored her... She ask for the manager and they said they don't have a manager! That is the obvious problem! We also paid diffrent amounts for the same treatments... And the receptionist could'nt explain why. Absolute chaos. Terrible experience... I will never go back! Lezanne
"AFRICAN PRIDE 15 O ORANGE DELIVERS ON EVERY LEVEL"
My wife and I stayed at this hotel for six nights and they delivered on every level! Asheena Davies-the Deputy GM and Natasha Davies the Guest Relations Manager went out of there way to insure that we had an outstanding stay. They helped us coordinate with the local vendor that was taking us on a tour of the wine country, arranged restaurant reservations including Baia which proved to be an excellent seafood restaurant located at the V&A Waterfront. Jerome who worked the front door was a great conversationalist who greeted us warmly every morning and when we returned in the afternoon after a day of sightseeing. For the record Capetown is now my favorite city in the world eclipsing Barcelona, Shanghai, Prague, Hanoi and Paris. The team at the African Pride 15 On Orange are a big part of that feeling about this remarkable city!
"Modern and different"
Was my second stay at 15 on Orange. This time we stayed in a room with only internal view of the hotel. Of course not so nice then the rooms that offer city views. Still the hotel is all you would expect from a 5 star property. Lacks little bit of personal touch when it comes to staff and service but all in all o good stay in a fantastic location in the city centre.
"FABULOUS HOTEL, PERFECT LOCATION AND SERVICE"
Loved this hotel, a perfect example of style and service. They provide all elite status benefits and has all facilities of a five stars hotel. 100% recommended. Very close to table mountain and most attractions.
"A nice hotel, with a great view if you are lucky..."
We stayed for 5 nights at the African Pride in a standard room, and we had a very nice time there. The rooms are well decorated, beds are very confortable, bathrooms are also very well designed (only a plug for an electric shaver was missing...). As you can see on the picture, the hotel is facing the table mountain. So, all rooms at the back of the hotel have this magnificent view. Maybe a good idea to ask for one of these rooms when you are booking. We've tried the resaurant once, and the food, was excellent. Breakfast buffet is also great.
