A fantastic hotel, the room was very nice. Would have preferred a sea view but that said and done, very very nice.Comment of H. Neil , United Arab Emirates the 2014-06-16
Such a lovely place, from the main entrance to the bars, restaurants, the decor. The staff are amazing, there to help you, nothing too much trouble. Our son and his wife had their wedding receiption here, that was certainly a wow factor with cocktails on the beach first.
We return to the Al Qasr as a family twice a year. Lows-its getting too expensive for an ageing tired resort. The pool was dirty, cloudy and too hot to even get in for the last two days of our holiday it was uncomfortable, several guests cut their feet on missing pool tiles. No fresh water to drink by the pool after initial offering ,no bottled water at breakfast. Tired bedrooms and public spaces, expensive pool menu and all on site restaurants without fail were hugely overpriced e.g. £85 for a sirloin steak in The Hide. Highs- the service from start to finish is amazing. Andrew and JoJo poolside are fantastic, all doorman are brilliant and everyone bar none in the PLC do a fantastic job but a special mention has to go to Sid in PLC who is simply the best bartender i have ever come across and I have known a few,Sid and his sidekick Anwar do an amazing job.Well done boys.
"Out of this world engagement dinner!"
My partner surprised me with a private butler service dinner on the beach! Where he proposed. The service was exquisite and the views were simply breath taking - they catered to every need and had previously liased with my fiancée over small details to make the meal extra special! Would recommend this for any special occasion!!
"Five stars and 12 horses"
The Al Qasr in Jumeirah is a palatial hotel with the 12 golden playful horses welcoming you. The sprawling luxury space reserved for the uber luxury traveller is a must visit place at least for a meal if you love the rabian style of welcome and exuberance. The boat serviced water front villas and the lovely architecture has a class of its own
"Great location, excellent staff and a great experience"
We stayed for four nights over the Easter weekend. While there were lots of guests, the hotel never felt that busy and staff always on hand to help. We tried several restaurants and all were excellent, especially the Lebanese. We arrived early morning before our room was ready but the hotel has excellent waiting facilities with lockers, showers, luggage storage, lounge area and of course use of pool etc. Beach and pool fully lifeguarded and what looked to be a really good kids club (we travelled as a couple so didn't use).
