It hotel is one of the most beautifully decorated hotels that I have ever stayed in. The hotel staff were always courteous and helpful and our room was amazing. The hotel was spotlessly clean and is conveniently located. The spa is also worth a visit. I would recommend this hotel to any discerning traveller.
I booked this hotel as a special treat for my wife's fortieth birthday and I am so glad I did. It's a little bit above my normal price range but I went a bit further and it was so worth it! When we checked in they informed us because it was my wife's birthday they upgraded us to a junior suite! This was a fantastic surprise and made the trip even more special. The room was stunning we both felt like royalty! The location is amazing out of all the areas in Prague we thought this area was the most beautiful. The breakfast was amazing and although we never ate in the restaurant, we ordered room service and the food was fantastic. The spa area was lovely too but a little on the small side and the pool is quite small. The wine and cheese tasting is a real nice touch too, I don't really like wine but I sampled some and the cheese, bread and grapes were really tasty. The hotel is really luxurious and totally unique well worth a visit. The staff were all lovely and friendly too. If I win the lottery I'll come back and stay in the imperial suite!
What a fantastic place to stay, staff amazing, helpful and approachable, food was gorgeous, hotel was clean, lovely interior. We stayed in January, although cold outside, the hotel was warm all the time and welcoming. It's very close to Charles Bridge which is just a 5 minute walk
"Beautiful hotel and outstanding service"
We had a terrific stay at the Alchymist Hotel in early December to celebrate my birthday. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, with lovely furnishings throughout. Upon our arrival, we were met by the outstanding and professional staff. The manager personally met and talked with us about the area and made us feel welcome. It was as if he were welcoming us to his own home. The concierge, I think his name was Pavel, could not have been more helpful. We wanted last minute tickets to a Christmas concert and when he couldn't find any tickets online, he called the venue several times and when he wasn't able to get through, he called the manager of the concert venue directly to make sure he got us tickets. We ended up with excellent seats! The super service included the people at the front desk and the door men who were always very friendly and helpful. Our large bedroom suite was luxurious with lovely decor -- very romantic. The hotel offered complementary wine and cheese in the late afternoon which was a really nice touch. Breakfast was served in the lovely restaurant and it was superb. So many fresh and delicious options -- truly wonderful. The Alchymist is in a great location. It is within an easy walk to the Charles Bridge and the Prague Castle. The hotel staff went above and beyond to make my birthday special and they totally succeeded. As I told my husband, "it was my best birthday ever". My thanks to the outstanding staff. We will definitely stay there again and I highly recommend it.
"1 night stay"
What can I say, from the moment I walked in I knew it was special. They checked me in swiftly and I was taken to my room by a polite member of staff. My room was on the top floor. A beautiful room with a large bath. Shortly afterwards I had a swim in the pool which is small but perfectly formed. This closes at 9 pm. The spa has all the top facilities and the staff are really helpful. At 5 pm every day there is complementary wine and cheese which is a chance to meet other residence. The reasurant is first class, I chose the chefs 6 course meal with matching wines which was again exceptional. Quality of food and service is up there with the best restaurants in London. They also allowed me to check out late because my flight was not until 9:30 pm. Probably one of the best small hotels I have ever stayed in. I hope by typing this review it does not become too popular. A real Gem. It is only a 3 minute walk to Charles Bridge and the castle is an 8 minute walk. Please see my photos attached which do not do it justice. Breakfast was superb. Best Craig Rochford
