"Good price and quality"
Very quaint boutique hotel in Bariloche. Love the fact that is small and very cozy. The breakfast was great. The staff was really pleasant. We had dinner twice there and loved it!!!! Only advice is when booking lake view rooms. The only way to get a lake view is if you get the 2 rooms in the top as others is the trees have grown so much that it will obstruct it in lower rooms. So when booking, clarify which room you are getting before paying extra fees.they were very responsive and accomodated us but needs to be clarified in the room descriptions
"Stunning beginning to Argentina Trip"
After a long day of flying and transfers, the Aldebaran was the perfect way to begin our trip to Argentina. It was quiet and relaxing; sweeping views of mountainous and picturesque landscapes. We felt as if we had the hotel to ourselves. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating providing us with excellent recommendations for dinner, sights, and hiking. While there are some that think the neighboring towns along the seven lakes route offer more, Bariloche was our favorite due in part to the Aldebraran.
"A relaxing highlight on an excellent honeymoon"
Beautiful Location, incredible amenities and unparalleled customer service were all on display during our 2 nights at Aldebaran. Located a short drive outside of Bariloche but a world away from your standard tourist accommodation, Aldebaran provides a peaceful and picturesque setting to enjoy Parque Nacional Nahuel Huapi. Above and beyond the quality of the facilities, the staff was the highlight of our stay. Following a disappointing experience with Alamo Rental Car in Bariloche (not recommended) we arrived in a cab and late for dinner. We were welcomed with a warm reception and an excellent meal. The following morning, Alex went so far as to call Alamo on our behalf, to no avail (still not recommended) and then to book us a pair of bicycles to ride the Circuito Chico (recommended) as well as a car to drive us to the rental. Following the ride, the staff was able to arrange a massage on short notice for my wife while I enjoyed a drink on the terrace. We couldn't have been happier with our stay, thanks so much!
"Relaxing hideaway you won't want to leave"
The location, rooms and service here were fantastic. It is 30 mins from Bariloche but well worth it if you're looking for somewhere more tranquil and pretty. Views of the lake from the property's jetty are spectacular, and the pool/spa while fairly basic, is a nice addition. You can ask for eggs your way at breakfast. The lunch and two evening meals we had in the restaurant were also very good quality. It's also very close to other excellent restaurants we tried, Il Gabbiano and Rincon Patagonia. Hire a car. We were so relaxed at the Aldebaran we often mused over what it would be like to move in over a glass of malbec on our balcony!
"A true gem!"
We just stayed at the Aldebaran this month and it was a fabulous three days. It is a small boutique hotel with just 10 rooms. Our room was huge, the amenities were perfect, the view was to die for. Their chef is outstanding, the best food we had in all of Argentina. The staff was always over the top in helping us out with any questions or transportation that we might need. They have a lovely spa area with a pool and jacuzzi that we made good use of. The pool was really warm! I highly recommend it.
