"Worth every penny"
My husband and I went for a small getaway to Abu Dhabi. Aloft was one of out options because of the affordable price on location. The checkin took more than 30mins, we understood that the hotel was fully booked but they say that a hotel is defined by how good they are at handling situations like these..anyway, time went by and when it was our time we faced some difficulties regarding my Emirstes ID but that said, the manager was extremely nice to handle this matter with a lot of delicacy and not a second did I feel like leaving. The staffs are professional and warm and a big big shoutout to the housekeeping team for taking care of our room. The hotel is pleasant and fun and I highly recommend !
The hotel is connected to ADNEC which holds several exhibitions per year, and as such is mostly for business travelers. Regardless, I stayed there during the F1 grand prix and I must say that the room design is somehow unconventional but still a decent room.
I was staying at the Hotel for a couple of days. The room is a very basic room, but the hotel design (lobby and other space) looks really amazing! Food can be ordered near the lobby in a small shop, but its very expensive there, so you can walk out and close to the premier inn is a shop which is open 24/7 with much more affordable prices. The pool are is very small, so I suggest you to go earlier in the morning there, as its very much crowded anytime after. Pool stuff is friendly, but mostly sitting without any assistance, so if you need a chair, it's up to you to find it - no assists from them. The reception service is very busy all the time, so calling them is not an option. If you need anything, walk to them and wait in the line. I would suggest this hotel to young people which are looking for relax and fun :) ps. they don't really offer airport transport, they can only book a limousine for you, but you can do this also alone I guess
My girlfriend and I enjoyed the pool and bar. The servers were friendly and the food helpings were generous and delicious. The rooftop bar offers an excellent view of the exhibition building. The cocktails lacked consistency which is not entirely a bad thing, but I did experience 3 different versions of mojito. The dinner in dine at aloft was also very good however the hotel could do with a no kids area.... Thanks!
"Great decor, and that's it. Customer service is indifferent at best"
This hotel was meant for ADIPEC and other exhibitions. I presume the staff is at their polite best only during exhibition season. For all other months, everyone from the valet parking to the telephone operator seems to be stretching themselves to help you. The flush in our room broke down early morning, and it took 15 minutes for someone to come up. More so, the operator didn't seem to have the slightest interest in addressing our concern. And if that was not enough, the phones didn't have any working buttons for Reception and Housekeeping,- and these are not areas difficult for them to rectify. They provided FOUR digit extensions for these at the reception, which they hoped we would memorize,- since they didn't show the acuity of labelling the phone with these numbers. Breakfast is good. Pool resembles a resort pool, where you can wade, but can't swim. Overall, not an exciting experience. You have better choices in the area.
