"Spacious function & sleeping rooms, parking garage available"
I was at the Aloft to conduct a Training. The function room is well equiped with large TV and Office Utensils. Seting of the tables can be arranged as you wish. Lunch is prepared in the Restaurant ground floor (very good and tasty). Next to the function room is a break out area with coffee. Supplies come with Croissants in the morning, candies/Juice/crisps in the afternoon. Staff is taking care of the Training participants. Sleeping room is spacious. Watercooker available. Enough space to walk around. I had one of the Windows opened at night for fresh air, Little noise in the morning due to passing traffic. Bed is huge, do not get lost. Everything ok. Parking is possible in their own Garage, no walk thru to the Hotel. Need to go out via streetside. Price is a whopping EUR25 per night. That is a tad too much. It would be fair if the Garage offered spacious places and an entry to the Hotel. Both are not available.
"Better than Expected"
The Aloft Brussels Schuman was a surprise for me. The level of service was superb from a beautiful associate named Catarima and very professional and welcoming associate named Sautiago. They both spoke English very well, and gave me information on whatever I asked. Room: The standard room was stylish , spacious and very modern. My room was 215 and it was right on front of the hotel sign. I didn't have a problem with street noise , and the beds were very comfortable. Location: Very close to the heart of Brussels by metro (train). Less than 10 minute walk to metro station and save money buying 24 hour ticket for €7.50 each. Only for stops to Grand Station which is the heart of city. 7 - 10 minute walk to a lot of attractions. Hotel: Parking is €25 with hotel or you can park on the street. I choose hotel because it's inside a garage. Hotel has a bar that closes at 12AM with good beers. Also there is a decent buffet breakfast for a price. Very happy with my stay. They also honored my request to get a crib for a baby (1 year old).
Fun hotel, great interior, nice view from my bedroom. During my stay, I've seen a great atmosphere in a very busy lobby. Breakfast was good, and the hotel is well located. Just I noticed weeks after that the small snack I purchased in the evening, and that I paid then, was later being billed a second time with my room. I noticed that too long after my stay, and this was only for about EUR 7, therefore I haven't sent any complain.
"Really nice trendy hotel"
Great place to stay in the European quarter, really over the top design hotel that is really well located. Rooms are really cool and it is an hotel that always surprises you. I did not get to enjoy it a lot but it has a really big social area that was always busy.
"European Quarter Swag"
We only stayed one night in this hotel after being able to snag a good rate. At entering the hotel we were positively surprised about the overall design of the hotel although it's young, hip and 'in your face', so maybe not to everybody's liking. Check-in was quick and professional. The hotel has a small parking available for a fee, however in the weekend there is usually abundant street parking for free. Although the room was not very big, it is very thoughtfully designed so it really doesn't feel too small. The bathroom was modern with an absolutely superb shower (!!). We had a few drinks at the hotel bar, quick service and friendly staff. The hotel is located in the European quarter and -whilst not in the most touristic area of Brussels- there is easy access to plenty of restaurants, bars and of course the metro which will get you to the old market in no time. Overall, good option for staying in Brussels.
