"Great place to stay! "
What a find! My hen party and I have just returned from Aloha Gardens after a 3 night break. There were 8 in the party and we booked a 3 bedroom duplex apartment. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised with how spacious the apartment was! Really roomy, clean and it surpassed our expectations for the money we paid. It was comfortably big enough for 8 ladies. The only draw back being no maid service for our stay meaning towels were not changed and they really should have been. The grounds of the complex are beautiful; flowers, trees etc - really pretty. The pool area is clean only downside being that the sunbeds could do with replacing - when we got on them they sunk in the middle! We had some great times by the pool, the only thing it is missing is some atmosphere. Maybe some relaxed music. There are also no toilets nearby meaning we had to trek back to our apartment for the loo. A good job our apartment was close by! The only drawback to staying here is the momentous amount of stairs!! It is not an easy to access complex as there are steps everywhere. This caused a small problem to the older hens in my party, however if you're fit you'll be fine! The upside is that there are great views as the complex is high up on multiple levels. The complex is situated in a picturesque area with surrounding golf courses, bars, restaurants and a shop about 200m walk. It's a lot further to walk into the centre of Puerto Banus which some of my hens did not appreciate. Luckily there is a handy taxi rank outside the apartments which was convenient. The staff are friendly and helpful; they always had a smile for us. Overall, we had an amazing time here and would recommend to friends/family looking for something affordable but well maintained. Will return!
"Good location older complex "
We stayed here in late April and can say we were slightly disappointed with the complex. The single glazing and thin walls mean your kept up all night with outside noise. Most areas in the complex or either dirty or require renovating. Wth regards to pools, the indoor one reminds me of a Jurassic park enclosure with its acidic smells and roof complete with holes and brown stains on the top of it. The outdoor pool needs new sunloungers. The development seems to attract people staying on one night jaunts so if your concerned about discussions of drug use and sexual activity then I would avoid the communal areas with your family. All in all just another dated Spanish apartment complex.
"A shame "
We visited Aloha Gardens for an Easter break, 2 adults & 2 children (6&7yrs). First impressions were nice, gated with security, well kept gardens. Our apartment, rented through AirBnB, was clean, modern & spacious and our host was friendly & helpful. We were a 10 second walk to the outdoor pool, 30 second walk to the indoor pool & to a row of restaurants and there was a small 'supermarket' less than 5 minutes walk away. Our large terrace saw the sun all day up until 7pm or so, Puerto Banus a couple of minutes drive, so a good location... This is nice we thought... One late afternoon (day 1) sat around the pool we were subjected to listening to loud music from one of the apartments surrounding the pool, one of the guests were also kindly singing along (badly) then my other half & I sat on the loungers watching our kids swim while listening to the same guests arrange a drug drop off at the gates, discuss how they're going to 'knock someone out' first before they get their 'cronies' involved & chat about how many pills to take before they go out... Nice. Then comes the evenings when people are loud at all hours of the morning, shouting/swearing, struggling to walk in their heels & waking us up at all hours. There was a hoard of classless chav hen parties in the ground floor apartments by the indoor pool that left a male blow up doll out on a sun lounger with it's blown up hard on all day which obviously my kids saw & then asked those dreaded questions 'what is that' 'why has it got it's willy out' and so on... Have fun by all means but you're not on an 18-30's and it's not nice when there are children around. As for the pools themselves the outdoor pool was clean & looked appealing while the indoor pool made me shudder a little... The jacuzzi looks really grim & of course that's what my children wanted a go in (!) It could be better cleaned & maintained but we won't be going back as there are (please god) better places to visit when traveling with children. Our first holiday in an apartment instead of a hotel & it was the longest 7 days of my life. Thank god for our hire car. It's a shame because it could be a lovely base for families but from our experience I wouldn't recommend.

"Superb Indian food"
Went here once again. It's almost a year since last visit as we don't live in this area any longer. I travel a lot and this has got to be the best Indian restaurant for me. You can taste the herb and spices. And very well priced. Staff are wonderful and so attentive. Always go back when I am in the area
