"Fantastic hotel with fantastic view"
It was our wedding anniversary and the hotel was truly the best choice i could ever make. It goes the extra mile by decorating our room with flowers and little cakes and fruits upon arrival. The staffs were very polite and very helpful throughout our stay. Will not hesitate to go there again. Everything was perfect. We had a very enjoyable, relaxing and fun time there.
"Relaxing but very expensive! "
We have just left Amari Vogue Krabi hotel after four relaxing days. Upon arrival we were greeted by the friendly staff and were offered this delicious pandanus leaf tea and cold towels which was very nice and refreshing. We were then shown to our room which was very nice, clean and spacious. As we were here celebrating our anniversary the hotel very kindly set up a rose petals decoration on the bed and bath tub as well as providing us with a cake and fruits which was really lovely! After showering we headed straight out to the pool/beach. The hotel had several pools however limited sun lounges which were taken up very quick. The pools were good in that they had jacuzzi seats in them however they were very uncomfortable to sit on and it would've been nice if it was made from marble or another material. Another downside is the pool had a few dead flies/wasps in them which was hard to relax in. The hotel surroundings was very beautiful and very relaxing. The beach was the same, it was very private with only the hotel guests having access and the view was amazing. The sea water so warm and lovely to swim in. The only negative point about this hotel is that it is very secluded and far from the city of Krabi therefore hardly any shops or restaurants. I do not recommend this hotel to young people who are looking for a cheap stay and a lively night life. We found ourselves having to walk abit to find food and still was very expensive. We ate at the hotel restaurant once and the bill came up to £70 for the four of us, which we found very expensive for basic Thai food. Although the portions were big it was still very expensive for Thailand. We had to order room service twice for dinner as restaurants along the beach were closed at 9.30pm. The room service was also quite pricey. We ordered lots of drinks from the bar throughout the day and although they have happy hour three times a day it was still quite expensive. Breakfast was very average and slightly repetitive everyday. The fruit selection was very limited but the coffee was good. Apart from this we did enjoy our stay as it was very relaxing and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
This hotel is nothing short of amazing. The views are spectacular and the food is delicious. I firstly want to point out that the staff is unparalleled when it comes to service and friendliness. They truly are wonderful people to be around and are there to take care of you. I would especially like to point out Wanna, who was not only just a great person, but when she found out my wife had Celiac, she made sure the staff knew and my wife was accommodated every time she ate. I cannot say enough about the staff here. The hotel itself is considered a boutique hotel. It's not small, but its intimate in that there aren't many rooms and a bit remote. This was a blessing, as we travelled to other areas and there were thousands of tourists on the beaches and boats parked. At Amari, it's a private beach so you're not dealing with any traffic other than the people staying in the hotel. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the managers at lunch, something not many hotels do, and were very friendly! The hotel only has 2 restaurants, but theres so much to do in Krabi that you will mostly be eating outside the hotel. The hotel makes it very easy to set up excursions and they are not very expensive at all. We did an excursion every day we were there. Thanks to jet lag, I was fortunate enough to be up before the sun, so I would walk to the beach to catch the sunrise which was breathtaking. The sun sets right over the mountains at night, and there are no words until you see it! My only qualm was that the room on the site, was not necessarily the room we stayed in. We reserved the Grande Deluxe Jacuzzi room, which in the picture shows a beautiful view of the ocean, black and grey marble in the bathroom and looks modern. Our room was definitely older (they told us they will be renovating this year) and our view was of just trees and part of the resort. Really wasn't the biggest deal because we stayed in our room to sleep and that was it and the jacuzzi was nice. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to travel to Krabi!
"First class "
I have yet to complete my stay here. But this place is amazing and they treat you so well. Check in is taken away from you, while you have a neck & shoulder massage with a drink & towels. The rooms are lovely & the views are beyond stunning. It is a little bit of paradise just here. The entire hotel is beyond anything I've experienced and would recommend this hotel for anyone that just wants to get away from everything. It is in the middle of nowhere. But it's what we needed after Bangkok. The staff are attentive & very friendly. Thank you for an amazing time on our trip
"The most beautiful hotel"
Me and my wife spent 7 days here on our honeymoon, it was truly 5 star. We were greeted with absolute professionalism the staff could not do enough and made us feel like we were the only guests in the hotel. Our sea view room was something out of this world, waking up to see beautiful blue sky the ocean and islands on the horizon was something that will draw me back time and time again. They really have thought of everything there are three different pools one is for quiet and relax cooler, one for lounging with bubbles and the other overlooks the sea with a beautiful horizon for sunsets, enjoy a cocktail and watch the sun set! Some people will say the food is expensive but it really is so reasonable for a 5 star hotel with views and ambience of true dreams. Compared to London and other major cities it's truly amazing value for money. The hotel will do everything for you, from hotel transfers to trips, you won't have to lift a finger. The hotel manager is a great guy and the other f and b manager also amazing. The Thai staff what a wonderful bunch of people, the Thai people are like no other positive kind and loving people. Thank you Amari Vogue from em and Annie we will see you again. David.
