"Nice hotel for relaxing and privacy travelers "
This relatively luxurious hotel is located on a hillside with a nice beachfront. It is not far from the airport and the tourist areas. It is a peaceful hotel. However, it is nice to have your own transportation. The facilities are typical 4-star hotel with nice decoration, traditional Thai style. Though, some amenities should be provided for the travelers i.e. sandel, etc. This hotel may be suit for those who seek for privacy. Owing to its location, steps and staircases is expected and not suitable for the elders (and small kids). Walking along the beach in the evening is relaxing with the nice views of the islands. Food and services are great. People are very friendly, which is not surprised due to Thai tradition and for us, who visit Krabi once or twice every year. Staffs are helpful and full of service-mind. There is a local seafood restuarant nearby in walking distance offering fresh and authentic Thai style disks. However, the price is not cheap according to Thai standard. Considering the relatively high price hotel, we expect better care of the environment and consideration to the guests. Unfortunately, allocated area for smoking is not existing in this hotel. Smoking fume ruins the nice atmosphere especially in the lobby area and breakfast terrace. For us, it is a major drawback of this hotel! There are more that the management has to do to make this hotel comparable to other 5-star hotels in the area.
Great hotel in a beautiful landscaped setting. Staff are excellent and efficient. Their friendly and professional service makes this resort a great place to stay especially if you want peace and quiet. Transport is required if seeking other resturants or attractions but long tail boats can be hired from the beach for visiting the stunning islands.
"Wonderful Honeymoon Spot"
We had a wonderful time staying in a One Bedroom Villa at Amari Vodue - the beach that the hotel is on is private and picturesque. The food at both restaurants was amazing and the breakfast included enough options that I always found a few items I liked. Highlights included: going into Ao Nang to check out the beach and have dinner, renting kayaks from the hotel, taking a long boat trip to Hong Island (this couldn't have been easier, no reservation, we just left when we wanted directly from the beach in front of the hotel). We even ordered a picnic lunch to bring with us. The only downside was that we got food poisoning on the last night from something we ate at the resort - most likely because we ordered Paninis and Pizza instead of something more authentic. We assume this was a fluke though, and it didn't taint out view of Amari - great place to go.
"Amazing resort, friendliest staff"
My wife and I stayed at Amari Vogue for four nights, and the resort was amazing. We arrived on the first night and was greeted by the staff, who were genuinely some of the friendliest people I have ever met. I have stayed in resorts all over the globe, and while most staff seem forced in their hospitality and friendliness, the staff here are just so genuinely nice. Our room was clean, and cleaned everyday, including a turn down service. We also had everything replenished daily; bottled water, beach and bathroom towels, and other amenities. The food was delicious, with two restaurants and a buffet breakfast. While we only ate at the Italian restaurant and the breakfast buffet, both were very good. The beach and scenery is really where Amari Vogue shines. We arrived at night, so when we walked to the beach in the morning we were surprised by the amazing views of the islands jutting out of the water. The pool was clean and was properly maintained. We were always able to grab a lounger, both pool and beach side. All in all my wife and I would definitely stay here again, and we could not speak anymore highly of this place. FYI: They're located about 15 minutes from Ao Nang beach, which is where all the shops and long tail boats are. I recommend private transfers/taxis, but the resort does offer a shuttle service for 100 baht. If you're in a rush to get to a reservation, the shuttle will wait 10-15 minutes for stragglers. We paid 400 baht if you can haggle the taxis down in Ao Nang to drive you back to the resort.
"Amari Vogue Krabi"
A beautiful setting and attentive staff made this a lovely stay The hotel is perhaps beginning to show its age but it is still a little piece of paradise and if you wish to enjoy a quiet escape on a perfect beach this is ideal.
