"Bangkok shopping tour"
Everything in Amari Watergate hotel are excellence except water heating a bit spoilt and room's wall are thin, can even heard next room flushing water at all time. But it is ok to re-visit this hotel if return to Bangkok again.
"Any time again"
This hotel has met all my expectations. The rooms are large, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast Buffet was awesome with many options for every desire. The location is also a plus! I have also used the limousine service from and to the airport and it was 1st class!
the place is ok, the location is also fair. the welcome was ok, however the checkin was very slow. buffet spread was immense but the taste was bad, the staff was not too engaging. amenities however were top class
"Stay here to feel like home"
This was my second time here after having such a good experience on my first stay. This time I brought my mother along with me and she enjoyed it very much. Stayed at the Executive room and had a private check in at the lounge on the 32nd floor. What I love the most about Amari is that every staff aims to make your stay a pleasant one. There is a ownership to the vision of the hotel. The staff don't just focus on their line of work but are also knowledgeable. Examples: The bellman that brought our bags up to the room asked if we found the room satisfactory and if there was anything we needed. He didn't have to do that but it was very nice personal touch and gesture on his part to make the beginning of our stay a good one. Then there was housekeeping who came in to replace an item that we consumed in the minibar and it was just about the time when the TV had some problems. We asked her if she knew how to fix it and she gladly did it for us. Again, she could have called on the hotel's technicians to do it but she took upon her self to try and solve the issue first. Then when we came back after shopping on the 3rd day, we found a thank you card from the duty manager with complimentary macarons for an online survey which I did for them via my email. Finally heading back to the airport, the ground staff got hold of a cab for us but also took down details like what time was my flight, on which airline and the cab driver's details. This really speaks volumes of their pre-emptive approach towards the unexpected happening. Very prepared, very attentive, very service oriented and very personalised.
