Lobby was grand and well crafted. Had a lavish buffet breakfast with nothing to miss like variety of nuts and toppings , range of fruits , bakery, Indian food... goes on. Had a good coffee with my wife watching the beauty of flying cars along the window at 4th floor, buffet hall. Window view for flyovers at room is still in my mind as sweet. Missing u Amari.
"Very good shopping around "
Had enjoyed my stay at Amari Watergate. Am pleasantly surprised to find the Pratunam market and the Platinum Mall. If you are looking at good wholesale prices for clothings and accessories, you will be delighted to be staying in this area. One of the famous wanton noodle store is also located in the vicinity. The hotel is clean and comfortable. Spacious as well. For the price paid, I felt is very value for money. Had tried the buffet restaurant on the 4th floor. Good range of food. The only setback is it is quite a distance from the subways. Other than that, it is quite a vibrant area to stay in.
"Back for a second time"
This review is delayed as I thought I had written it...oops. We booked here at the last minute as we wanted to come to Bangkok early and our other was not able to accommodate us. We really like the area of the hotel and had fond memories of staying here previously. It is still a wonderful place. The lobby is beautiful and so relaxing; the smell the music the soaring open ceiling. Truly stunning. Our room was large, even for Bangkok, and the bed was comfortable. we do love the view across Bangkok, especially at night. It's mesmerising. The one area that let them down was the breakfast. It was OK, but maybe we are spoilt now by spectacular Asian buffet breakfasts...It was more of a Holiday inn type spread, we couldn't put our finger on it exactly as there was everything you could wish for and an extensive choice, but the quality was not as fresh and tasty as other places in Thailand that we have experienced. I am a harsh critic though, and we have been spoiled at some very delicious breakfast feasts. We do love their bakery downstairs, they do a really good espresso coffee and have the most crunchy and sweet apricot danishes I have ever eaten. They are my weakness. The pool and the staff was impeccable and so were the gym facilities. We did not use the spa but it looked serene. We would stay here again if we needed to be in this area, but we do have other hotels that we prefer in this amazing city.
"WOW! what location.."
it is an amazing place to stay just in the heart of the buzzling city life. most of the 5 stars we have been to have been located a little far from the hustle bustle of city life but this one was just there where we would have so wanted it to be for a short stay at Bangkok. The platinum mall is just right in front and you can buy everything under just one roof with an access to an amazing food court as well. The Indra square is also ten mins walk from the hotel and is a huge whole sale market. an access to a lot of eateries and 7/11 or family marts makes it an even more amazing place to stay. the room we stayed in was a little small yet sufficient and the washroom was great. the breakfast was also sumptuous with a wide choice. the staff was very helpful and hospitable and we really enjoyed our short and crisp stay at AMARI!
Right in the centre of shopping malls, lovely view from top floors . Great hospitality, lovely swimming pool. Breakfast 👌. Lovely lobby . It's an Indian friendly hotel . Smooth check in & check out . Worth for guys to stay here who want to shop around
