we stayed for 3 nights.the room had amazing view, it was clean and really spacious. the breakfast was amazing.it had everything someone can ask for .opposite the hotel is the bus stop from were you can catch the bus to venice island .you can buy tickets at the reception .The stuff was polite and helpful.next to the hotel you can find supermarkets and restaurants .we stayed there because we didn't want to carry our luggage around venice island(since this was our first time there ) until we find the hotel and because we wanted to be near the train station that is only 10 minutes walk from there.furthemore this hotel is a 4 hotel and cost less than the 3* hotels located in venice island that are old and not renovated!
"Good value mid-range hotel"
Location good to access from airport and to visit Venice Staff helpful Room compact but clean, bed good size Good breakfast with plenty of choice Handy for bus stop into Venice and only 10 minutes walk to Station and shuttle to airport Soundproofing of rooms not good especially when there are inconsiderate other guests Would recommend if don't want to pay high prices of being on the island
This hotel is on the Venice Mainland. With a short bus ride no 4 or 4L along the causeway you arrive in Venice. The hotel is clean modern and the staff are friendly. We stopped on the 2nd floor I think it was room 206. The room had a massive double bed, very comfy when you have been walking all day. A modern tv, fridge and hairdryer and safe were all included for free. You could buy tickets for the bus at reception a return ticket was 3 euro's for two. They also sold tickets for the water buses, for two days for both of us 60 euros it was the best money we could have spent. Overall the service was excellent.
Hotel was ok, wasn't 4 star. Receptionists were accommodating, stayed in one of the updated rooms, they still wasn't finished but we're clean.beds are really hard, to the point gave me back ache. Double glazing isn't great. You can hear all the traffic outside. The breakfast was ok to be honest. You had cereals, Condiments, croissants, bread, meats and cheese, bacon and scrambled egg. Dinner was expensive there and was ok but not fantastic for the money. €80 euros for a bottle of wine, a chicken and rice dish and battered seafood which is very poor. You need to get a bus to the bus depot, number 4L then can pick up water bus or walk over the bridge with glass steps.(€28 for bus and water bus all day each) Beautiful views... walking is good as you get to see all the shops, but very tiring. Try and get bus in between shopping to take you to different areas. Doges palace is beautiful. €40 euros for 2.... Gondolas are €80 euros for day or €100 for evening only 30 mins though. All I will say is you need money there, one dinner was €100. We had a main each has and a bottle of wine. But it's a must if you have always wanted to go like me. One of the bucket list as I say.
"Good hotel "
The hotel is OK. It was a 10 minute walk from metre railway and bus station staff were pleasant. Our bedroom was a good size and it was clean. The bed was nice and big, although the pillows were hard. The bathroom was fine. The one thing that struck us instantly when we walked into the room was the smell of drainage/sewage. It wasnt pleasant at all. Transport: The bus stop over the road was great and bus 4L took us straight into venice. We purchased a 48 hour travel ticket from reception. Food: The hotel in the food looks okay. The selection was not great and the hot food could have had a little bit more variety. On the whole it was fine. There is a huge spar supermarket and mcdonalds next to the hotel. It was an okay hotel that met our needs of sleeping for our trip to Venice.
