"Home Sweet Home"
Feel really good in this hotel, Staff is extremely polite and dedicated. even if the rooms would require a bit of renovation all restaurants, bars and open area around the pool are really nice. food is also Great which is really appreciated for a long stay especially break Fast buffet. I have only 1 negative comment about the fitness room which is closed (no window) lack of ventilation, old equipment (see picture) and would required a bit of renovation. thanks for your overall rating.
"Awesome staff and recognizes Plat status "
Had a great night stay with suite upgrade via Platinum status. Quite nice to happen automatically. Easy checkin / out. Warm pool, good wine / beer and quality food in lounge. Extremely safe hotel located in heart of Amman. Highly advise getting drinks out utilizing Uber or taxi.
"Great choice: Excellent Room &Pool, ok location"
I stayed for one week in October and was very satisfied. They really do live up to their standard of being a five star hotel. Very nice room. Overall, superb quality. The good: --One of the most comfortable bed and pillow I've ever slept on. Room is quiet and its easy to sleep. Luxurious. --Outdoor pool is huge and gets a lot of sunlight. There indoor pool and jacuzzi is nice and coed. The gym is a bit small though (gets the job done, but don't expect a lot). -- Breakfast is superb with a large variety of Western and Middle eastern food. The dinner restaurants are all excellent, but very expensive. --Hotel seems very safe; good security. The location: While on one hand it's quiet and you get good quality of sleep, on the other hand, there's not much going on around it. There aren't many street food options nor shopping. It's sort of secluded. If you're going for work, leave before 730 because there's lots of traffic. The not so good: --the lighting in the room is dark. For example, I didn't like that you can't push one button when you enter to turn on all the lights in the room. You actually have to go in the room (in the dark) and manually turn on every light, one by one. Minor detail, but still a little annoying. --They have a few annoying taxi drivers outside the hotel that charge like 10X the price a regular taxi and try to rip off tourists. --The customer service is ok. Generally it was good, but I had to call three times to get a bottle of lotion to the room (though they apologized and said they were busy because it was a crowded weekend.) On my third phone call, they brought hand sanitizer instead of lotion. Overall, this is a good choice and it lives up to the Marriott standard. Can't go wrong if you stay here. You will be satisfied.
"Beautiful Hotel and Extremely Polite Staff"
Stayed 2 nights in the Marriott Amman. The room was lovely and the hotel staff was incredibly helpful and polite. The breakfast buffet was great, very good quality food and a wide variety of options. The hotel has a small fitness center too which we took advantage of as well. Great location in the city, excellent stay!
Really enjoyed my stay here. The breakfast was great with the most amazing hummus and sun dried tomatoes! And I stayed at 3 Marriott hotels in Jordan, and the breakfast here was definitely the best! My room sadly had no view and was of some sort of pyramid on the roof but I wasn't in my room much so it wasn't a problem. Lovely soft bed, nice food at the Italian restaurant and fantastic staff!
