"Nice location but rooms have seen better days"
- The hotel is located on a quiet street but within walkable distance to the shops and the night market - Beautiful and well maintained reception area, which leaves a good impression but I can't say the same about the guest rooms, which I found underwhelming due to the insufficient lighting and basic modern amenites such as easy access to sockets for phone charging etc, which most travellers take for granted these days especially from a five-star resort in Thailand - Very average breakfast buffet spread for a five-star resort in Thailand - They need to do more to get rid of the mosquitoes. They are everywhere. - Good food and nice cocktails at the 1921 Restaurant
"Relaxing Stay in ChiangMai"
We booked a Kasara Suite for my wife and son. Large room facing the river and hotel courtyard. Quiet and with a great balcony. Breakfast came with our room and was awesome with a lovely river deck eating area.. As well, we had lounge access but since kids cannot enter lounge between 6-8pm when alcohol is served, we only used it once. Too bad as it is a great perk. Room was well appointed and turn down service was great though a bit late in the evening (9pm). Pool area was fantastic. The service and friendliness of the staff was topnotch. We also ate at The Service 1921 and really enjoyed our evening there for our anniversary dinner.
"Awesome! I love it"
All the staff is friendly and helpful! I like the hotel environment because i felt relaxed when I step into the hotel! 它让我想再回去..它有家的感觉……有情有格 性...员工敬业乐业！酒店的设计有人情味...只是整间酒店房间有暗... 物有所值…… Hotel yang paling baik kat Chiang Mai!
"Stylish and beautiful riverside retreat"
Booked the Kasara Suite and one deluxe room for my five person party. The deluxe room was also free-upgraded to a Kasara Suite thanks to Expedia gold status. Had separate checking for suite guests in an AC lounge with a free brief massage and welcome drink - very appreciated! The whole property is gorgeous with room decor containing many references to traditional domestic architecture, but a modish, Zen modernism predominant and exquisitely interpreted. Comfy beds. Bathroom was a little awkward as there were sliding wooden dividers to separate from room. 1921 Restaurant is a tasty Asian place with a western colonial era theme. Overall, love the place, top place to stay for a luxurious and tranquil Chiang Mai vacation.
"Incredible hotel. Incredible staff. Lovely experience in heart of Chiangmai "
My husband and I had such a memorable few days at this resort. The food, the staff, the rooms and the attentiveness and friendliness of each and every person who worked here was so appreciated. The hotel itself is top notch. The rooms are lovely and the pool along the river is beautiful. We loved our breakfast every day included in our stay and we had dinner one evening In The restaurant which was awesome. This hotel was the highlight of our Thailand trip.
