"Excellent experience , stay away from tours involving animals."
The facility was outstanding. Thai people was VERY welcoming and made us feel right at home. The facility has easy access to a beautiful beach right on the andaman sea. It also has massages right on the beach with a couple of bars at pool side. Overall the experience is great and REALLY worth the money. Do yourself and your family a favor and avoid shows/ tours involving any kind of animals. Thailand laws regarding animal welfare are very lax to say the least and animal abuse is a norm in most attractions involving animals. So if don't feel like explaining why a young macaque monkey is literally eating his arm off to your child then stay away from this types of tours. The Anantara as a hotel was the best experience by far. We have stayed at several Hilton hotels and resorts and they pale in comparison. Highly recommended!
"Excellent resort and service"
We stayed at Anantara for week in May 2017. The resort is really nice but what made our stay incredible was the staff at this resort. The service here was top. The staff went out if their way to make sure we enjoy our stay. I want to say thank you to everyone including reception, guest services, kids club, restaurant and pool bar staff as well as housekeeping. I would highly recommend this resort. We had a vacation club unit and it was spacious, clean and had everything you need for a great stay. Wish we could stay longer!
I have visited for 8 days 7 nights with my kids(6,7year old). They had soooo much fun. They enjoyed so much the kids club program from 8am-6pm. The staff are well trained, great manners, polite and very professional. I have visited Marriott vacation beach club and JW marriott(next door) to just compare for future references to choose the place to stay for my vacation. And I found that Marriott is very busy resort like a shopping mall while Ananrara is peace and quiet with lots of activities to do. The staff at Marriott are ok but not acted professional as much as in Anantara. The only down side of Anantara is have no sauna and spa pool while Marriott have them. The food at Chaam restaurant at Anantara is great but the chef forgot to put pouch egg on my cesar salad and I still need to pay full price and didn't feel it is worth of money. The pool bar are great and the staff are great too, except when it is raining, no any staff are there for you to order the drinks because they thought you may not swim when it is rain' The room and facilities for family are great and clean. The bike and the gym are great too. I would recommend this resort to anyone. Highly recommended.
Came to Phuket many time but just having chosen AVC Phuket as the hotel of choice for my 4 days/3nights visit and would properly say that never disappointed. Excellent services provided from check in to check out, helpful & efficient Front Office Teams, GSA and GSC also F&B Team at both morning and afternoon shift at Chaam Restaurant. Hugh luxury rooms with full equipped facilities and HK Team had done very great jobs with thorough details. Very impressive service.
"they need to work harder"
the Sales are everywhere no matter where you go in the resort, they will keep asking you to participate their so called Membership Presentation which has to pay at least 50000 BHT for the'valuable' and 'unique'service in the future.I walked around resort and explained and repeated at least 5 times for why I didn't show up that day.
