"Great hotel in Lower Manhattan"
This is the perfect hotel if you have meetings on Wall Street or in Lower Manhattan. The rooms are large; the ceilings are high; the showers and baths are luxurious. Skip the restaurant in the hotel and enjoy some of the terrific restaurants in the area.
"Awesome business stay"
This hotel is a great place for work meetings. The comfort and the amenities were beyond compare. The location is also near some of New York's best restaurants. The ability to go from business to pleasure was at tap of your room card. The room service was the fastest I ever seen as a frequent business traveler.
"Perfect stay for our New Year trip! "
Stayed in the Andaz over New Year. From check in to check out everything was great and we couldn't have asked for more. Fantastic spacious rooms, which is hard to come by in NYC sometimes! The little touches all make a difference, free tea, coffee, cookies in the lobby and soft drinks in your fridge in your room! Location is great, lots of bars and restaurants in walking distance along with great sights and easy access to the subway! If you're up to it, grab the train from JFK for $8 straight to Fulton street, the Andaz is a short walk away. $8 train vs $60 taxi' Definitely recommend heading to Leo's bagels too round the corner! We had an incredible breakfast bagel.
I was greeted promptly by the friendly front desk staff and quickly checked in. I upgraded to the Andaz Deluxe King room ($20 fee), which was huge and extremely comfortable. It was a very pleasant stay. My only note is that some of the linens showed some serious wear-and-tear - my duvet cover had holes in it and a few towels had ragged edges, which shows a surprising lack of detail considering everything else was top-notch.
"Trendy Boutique Hotel in Downtown Manhattan (Near Wall Street)"
Andaz Wall Street is a trendy boutique hotel, where I recently stayed with my wife and young children. The hotel is in a nice location, right off Wall Street, and within walking distance to many sightseeing attractions -- including the Freedom Tower, the 9/11 memorial, and Westfield World Trade Center at the World Trade Center complex. We loved the fact that so many nice places were within a quick walking distance. Our room was large (it felt like an apartment), super clean, and it had quintessential Manhattan views. And it had very chic bathrooms. Also, I loved the high ceilings, which made the room feel even grander. Our room had a Nespresso machine with free coffee, and soft drinks and snacks were also free. I don't think I ever saw this in another hotel. I liked the modern feel of the lobby, with a 24/7 coffee & tea & cookies station -- for free. And they have a complimentary wine tasking every evening. There is also a nice restaurant attached to it, where we had a tasty brunch. Bottom line: I recommend this hotel for your next trip to Manhattan!
