"nice modern hotel"
Hotel is close to the old town. Right next to the train station- but no noise at all. Very good breakfast, nice clean rooms - rather big shower. Check-in was ok - could be more welcoming and providing us with some sort of information. Housekeeping staff very helpful and polite. The only down side - the indifferent and rather impolite bar staff. We asked for one glass of water together with our drinks. We got a very condescending answer that he only sells bottled water and without further asking opened a bottle. We refused the bottle, paid our drinks and left after one drink irritated. Check out very friendly and polite. Would I stay again- probably yes- but without visiting the bar.
From the front desk, to the room, to the restaurant I was elated with the quality of service. If there was ever a request or question, if one person didn't know the answer it was a team effort that was quite impressive in the completion of what was asked. The location was convenient for many things, the train, the main square, many historic locations and great restaurants. You needn't look far for fine dinning though, the restaurant on location was fabulous for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The time I went we spoke with the staff about a mushroom sorbet, and 24hrs later after translating a recipe they made a version of it in house. That level of accommodation will never be forgotten. As well as their promptness about helping arrange any tours or offering their personal experience with the countries sites. The room, amenities, and view was a perfect experience for my first time to Poland.
Beautiful hotel, spotlessly clean, modern hotel. Situated overlooking market square and right next to the subway that leads to the park which in turn leads to the main market square from where all the centre and its historic places can be accessed. The hotel staff are very helpful and will arrange taxis to and from the airport. Would highly recommend due its location and wonderful breakfast and rooms.
"Beautiful hotel in an ideal location."
This hotel offers everything you need for a perfect stay in Krakow: spotless and well appointed rooms; friendly staff; a central location and a varied breakfast. Our room over looked a pretty square in the new part of the town. The hotel is adjacent to the new shopping centre, train/bus station (getting to and from the airport and Auschwitz is therefore very simple) and various tram stops. The old town and market square are only a short walk away through pretty cobbled streets. You could not ask for a better location; getting around and exploring Krakow could not be easier from here. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and cannot fault it. Highly recommended.
"This should be your first choice"
Stayed here just before the New year. What can I say that hasn't been already mentioned in previous reviews' Location is excellent, right next door to a mall and the main train station. A walk of a couple of minutes to the old city. The room was clean, quiet and a reasonable size. Great bathroom! The staff are really the stars of this hotel. Always smiling, always ready to help and seem genuinely interested in making sure your stay is as good as it can be. When we were checking out, my Wife mentioned to the front desk how happy she was with the stay and was told "we are happy that you are happy". Sure, that's could be just great PR (which is always welcomed) but we felt that they really meant it and lived up to that statement. If there was anything that was an issue, the room was a little too chilly. We called the front desk and asked about it, they gave us instructions on how to set the thermostat. Which we did but the room never really warmed up to our liking. Nothing uncomfortable, just that we live in the tropics so a warmer room would've been welcomed! All in all, an excellent place to hang your hat when you're in Kraków. Will definitely stay here again and highly recommended.
