We loved this hotel. It was a wonderful place to relax after temple visits and as a member of SLH we really appreciated our upgrade to a pool suite. A fabulous treat. Everyone was helpful and friendly and we enjoyed a massage too! We highly recommend staying here when visiting Siem Reap.
beautiful hotel, Situation good. The swimming pool is super. Decoration and garden too. Spa and massages are so nice! Food to improve Problem with electricity in the bedroom( it works 2 minutes and we have to put the card again and again)
"An Oasis of Luxury"
I highly recommend this luxurious hotel in Cambodia that is not in the middle of town. Therefore, it is quiet, relaxing and calm. The grounds are beautiful and the hotel has a wonderful lazy river swimming pool. The staff are attentive, friendly and provide the highest levels of customer service. I have no complaints about this place, whatsoever. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
"Fantastic Resort - With character. So comfortable. Incredible pool."
There seems to be so many highly rated resorts in Siem Reap. You see them on the busy main road driving from the airport. But while no doubt they are comfortable, they are massive, soulless mega resorts, and literally with tour buses lined up out front. By contrast, Angkor Village is a hidden oasis. A stunning garden of wooden bungalows surrounded by an extraordinary pool. The pool meanders around the garden giving opportunity to swim to private areas. We were told it is 200m long. Perfect for relaxing after visiting temples. The grounds are vast enough that it feels really private and quiet (even though a fair few guests are staying there). The rooms was beautiful. The restaurant areas are stunning. The breakfast is by far the best we had during our trip. Fresh bread, fresh croissant and pain au chocolat. A cook taking egg orders, and A cook preparing a local breakfast noodle (def worth trying). The staff are super warm, always greeting with a smile. Also super helpful arranging transport and providing tips. We are on our honeymoon, and knowing this, they really looked after us- gave a free massage voucher and room upgrade. We are now in Thailand, and can say that the 'bang for buck' hotel quality is nothing like what we had at Angkor villag. We aren't typically resort people. But I can honestly say though that this resort is a 'destination' in itself. A great place to chill. We loved it. Don't even hesitate for a moment to book.
"Angkor Village Botanical Resort"
Wonderful idyll in Siem Riep, very stylish decor whilst keeping the traditional style. Perfect stay for Angkor Wat visit. Restaurant for dinner ok but delicious homemade breakfasts in gorgeous setting. Rooms were charming amidst lush gardens.
