"Located Close to major sightseeing spots and plenty of shopping nearby."
My room was clean and adequate, and I found the staff to be mostly helpful. My experience is that the staff is as friendly as the travelers who approach them. I would stay here again. The location is excellent and within easy walking distance to sightseeing and shopping .
"nice hotel in a very good spot in Rome"
we had a vacation for 4 days in this hotel the hotel is very well located in Rome center! very clean room & public area, nice breakfast (like served in most Europe ) the hotel personal was very polite & very helpful
"Not recommended hotel"
The location of the hotel is perfect The hotel is very near to spanish steps and fontana di trevi but unfortunately the hotel should not be ranked as 4*. The breakfast was not that good the cups were dirty and the cover of the tables were soo soo dirty. As for the bedrooms, they are very small and the towels were dirty. Not recommended at all...
It was my 3rd visit to Rome. I've been in 3 stars hotels and it was better than a such 4 stars hotel. The room not clean at all. At 7.30 pm a room service girl enter the room while my wife was in! Poor breakfast. The dishes and the cups are too old and not cleaned well. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL
Where does one start. We stayed on the 20th September for 4 nights. We are definitely not fussy over small matters. I have not reviewed this earlier because I needed to calm down. After a long flight, we were told the travel agent had not only put our name on the booking, but another name as well. They informed us we had to fix this or pay again, or they would throw us out. I had a local number to ring, but with no global roaming I asked them to ring. No help. When I asked how much the phone cost to use they said about 50p a minute. I later found a free local phone near foyer. Next was the internet. No free wifi because it was booked through a travel agent. I had to purchase some. Not impressed when the password was an extremely profane word. I thought these words were banned. The staff at reception were extremely rude and one in particular refused to acknowledge our presence at all. When I kindly asked him for some directions on my map, he just stared at me. I was about to offer him my pen, when he picked his up and quickly drew a line. The wifi would not work in our attic room ( which was clean, with hand held shower), nor would it work in their lounge. It only worked next to reception. Breakfast was passable and typically European, with lots of cake, but that is common. Although the room was passable, (although I had to stand on the desk on tip toes to look out the window) the experience was ruined by the front of house staff. I would never go there again. I should add that the porter and the cleaner were friendly.
