"Very good hotel, excellent service"
We stayed at this hotel in May 2016, it was our first family holiday with my 7 month old daughter. The staff were extremely helpful, service was fantastic; they would sterilise her bottles for me everyday in their microwave. They absolutely loved kids and were ever so welcoming. The reason why I did not give it 5 stars is because there is no gym in the hotel. Great views from the pool area of the volcano.
"Heaven on Earth"
When I came to write a review, I was dying to know who found this place to be anything but five stars. I found that this reviews were old and the things they complained about were not at all what we experienced (things that seem to have been remedied or no longer exist). In short, this was one of the loveliest hotels I've ever stayed at. It's one of those hotels where you don't ever want to leave it to explore the destination (then feel both guilty for staying at the amazing hotel and guilty for missing the city and sights). There are no cons, so I'll just leave you with this pro list: Room: -enormous, even by American standards. We stayed in the Rigoletto Suite (which doesn't seem to be mentioned in any other reviews but I feel certain is the best one--I hesitate to say that because I want to keep this secret for myself, but it's only fair). It had a huge living room with traditional colors and decor (those with taste will appreciate the color scheme and the amazing craftsmanship of the wooden doors and shutters), an adorable bathroom, a spacious bedroom (ladies will appreciate the built-ins: armoire, drawers, and a large counter with a mirror to gleefully spread out). There were two balconies with divine views--one is shady in the morning and one is perfect for sunsets. Naturally, everything was clean and tidy. You will literally leap out of bed in the morning to get to the balcony for the view. Service -a bottle of wine on arrival and a made-to-order champagne breakfast delivered to your suite every morning. There is nothing better in the world than looking out over the caldera at breakfast. -the staff is very helpful when needed but invisible the rest of the time. That is the true mark of excellent service: you feel like you're in your own home with no one to bug you except for the times when you need assistance with travel or restaurants. At those times they really care about making sure you have the best of everything. Location -the location in Fira is excellent. None of the stairs to climb but all of the views; a very short walk to the main area with shops and restaurants, but just off the beaten path so it feels quiet. There is no need to bake like a potato in the sun in overpriced Oia where you can barely walk without tripping on a tourist--Fira is the place to be. Plus the adorable donkeys walk by every day at the same times, talk about a Greek experience! Grounds/Property -a beautiful pool, a beautiful view, and a quiet atmosphere. Even with people occasionally walking by on the path below, you felt like you had such peace and privacy! Really just one of the most relaxing places I have ever stayed.
"40th Wedding Anniversary "
Aria Suites is by far the best place to stay on Santorini. The location in Fira sits on the edge of the caldera. The staff is amazing! This is our 4th night here and loving it. Yesterday was our anniversary and when we arrived back to our room after a wonderful island tour, they had placed beautiful flowers in our room. Breakfast is served on our terrace every morning. I cannot say enough about the staff and accommodations. It has been a magical visit so far and I am looking forward to my last two days on this incredibly beautiful island and our new friends at Aria Suites.
"Attentive staff who really care"
This 6 or 7 suite property is well located with spectacular views of the Caldera. The rooms were large and the longer we were there the more I liked it. The staff really took the time and effort to make sure you were comfortable and happy. They were knowledgeable and any activity you may think of as a visitor was within their knowledge base. A short distance from the main town, 2 blocks, but far enough away from the crowds of the daytime visitors from the cruise boats.
"The best place in Fira!"
We loved Aria Suites. There are only 6 rooms on this property, so it has almost the feeling that you're staying in someone's villa. It's a short walk to the busy main shopping street, but just removed enough to be peaceful and quiet. The rooms are clean, and very well-equipped, the breakfast, (served to you on your own patio) was very complete, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. It's also a short walk to the bus station, where you can easily get a bus to the other interesting spots on the island. The sunset was really beautiful from our patio. I would definitely recommend Area Suites to anyone going to Santorini.
