"A pleasant stay in a spacious room"
We stayed in a loft style room with two single beds. The stairs to go up to the next level was a bit creaky and definitely not a good option for seniors or young children. I like that our room had two bathrooms (one for each person). The windows were huge and provides a nice view of the city. There's a laundry and a kitchen on the sixth floor - fees apply. I was told that the kitchen were for people staying for more than 7 days.
"Affordable hotel with large rooms"
An affordable hotel that is a five minute walk from the Suzhoujie subway station. If you are taking the airport line, you only have to transfer once at Sanyuanqiao station to Line 6. There is a huge mall at the Bagou station a ten-minute walk away. The rooms are large by Chinese standards and relatively well-maintained. Checking in and out took less than 5 minutes. I am usually out for most of the day so this no-frills and functional hotel suits my needs.
"good hotel in haidian"
the location was good as we were having meetings nearby. we were living in a loft apartment. one bathroom was old and small, there was no hot water in the other bathroom at the upper floor. we had no chance to use the gym and pool but had a look, which looked good. The room was full of smell of hotpot and the heat was too hot. we therefore need to open the window to sleep despite the smog.
"Not Coming Back-- Too May Issues"
The hotel is a little old and a little busted. It's certainly not terrible, but it's somewhat rundown, the service is kind of crummy but worst of all, the internet is rotten. We just have too much trouble here, even with up to date VPNs. We spent a week at the Crowne Plaza down the street, and for a little more money, the breakfast is three times as good and the internet is much, much, less troublesome. It's nice the suites have two bathrooms, and a room separate (sort of) from the sleeping space. but the internet is a deal breaker. Staff has a tiny bit of English.
"Even below the chinese standards"
I've staid at Ariva almost every week over the last 8 months, simply because it is near the office. The hotel is poorly managed from every perspective: from the effectiveness of reception to the design of the rooms, from the breakfast to the look&feel.
