Stopped here for 2 nights for a long weekend, booked as a package through Easyjet. The hotel is a short bus ride from the airport then about 15 mins walk through nice quiet area. Despite not being able to check in after arriving in the morning, were able to leave our bags at reception, change clothes and venture into the city. Hired bikes from the hotel which were reasonably priced at €16 for 24 hours which we fully made use of. Didn't spend a great deal of time here but very nicely furnished and quiet, slept well.
This is a comfortable hotel about 20 mins from downtown Amsterdam via the #2 tram. The room is well equipped and the beds are extremely comfortable. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. It's about a 5-7 min walk to the tram stop through a quiet residential neighborhood. Even though it is a bit of a commute to the city it suited our needs nicely and was a good value. Tip: you can buy your transit passes at the front desk
Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms nice and cozy. Great fresh food although slightly expensive. Shower pressure not so good. Cleaning staff excellent. Close to the tram station and offers food after the kitchen is closed. Nice experience!
We stayed here for 4 nights, which was perfect for our needs. The location is nice and quiet. It's only a 25 minute Tram journey to the city centre, not to mention the number 2 Tram is one of National Geographic's top 10 tram rides in the World! Would highly recommend - the staff were so welcoming. We were given a complimentary drink and free map on arrival, and showed how to get to the main attractions in the city.
"Lovely hotel! "
We stayed for 3 nights, brilliant value and close to Amsterdam centre via the trams, which run frequently. There were maps at reception when we checked in and a lot of info regarding public transport. Check in went smoothly, but we paid before we arrived. The room was ideal for what we needed, tv, plug sockets, and also an iron and ironing board which was handy. The only issue with the room is with the bathroom door; it was a frosted glass door which didn't stop in place when we wanted it to close, nor could you lock it, so this didn't offer much privacy, but other than that the room was great. When it came to check out, which was about 4 in the morning, the receptionist ordered us a taxi and made a point in going out to the driver when he arrived, as the receptionist said the cabbies like to take advantage of tourists sometimes! All in all I would definitely recommend and would definitely return!
