"Nice & Modern Hotel"
Nice hotel w modern decorations. We had a superior deluxe king room, which was very large, nice big bathroom w double sinks. They offer a buffet breakfast for 12.50€ that was decent. The hotel is. It in the city center...so it was peaceful and quiet. But easy enough to get around.
"Fab hotel! "
We stayed at this hotel for our short weekend break in Dublin to celebrate my birthday, It suited our needs perfectly! Triple room was big enough for 3 women trying to get ready in the mornings! The staff were very very helpful and friendly, the hotel had a very nice atmosphere to it. Check-in isn't until 3pm but as we had arrived in Dublin in the very early hours of the morning we were exhausted, we got our room a little earlier which was so helpful to us. The hotel is in a perfect location- it was incredibly easy to get to all the tourist attractions via tram, buses or to walk to! The Guinness factory can be seen opposite the hotel which gives you a sense of excitement! The breakfast selection in this hotel is absolutely fantastic, there is such a wide selection of things to choose from! The only thing dissapointing about this hotel is the room service!! There is a limited option and the pizza we ordered was burnt. Overall, would recommend this hotel and when we return next year we will definitely be booking at the Ashling Hotel!
"Fantastic! Great Value!"
We loved all the details about the room. It was energy efficient, the bathroom design was very well thought out making it easy for the two of us to spread out, the beds were comfortable, the view over the River Liffey was a bonus, and the location was actually perfect! The breakfast was a great value and very satisfying with so many choices including a gluten free table! The staff were particularly friendly and courteous especially the Assistant Restaurant Manager, Bogdan.
Spent 3 nights on holiday here. We arrived @ 7:00 on a Sunday morning after traveling 14 hours. The staff got us into our room an hour and a half prior to check in which was welcome. The staff is very helpful & cordial. The bar restaurant is very comfortable, warm and inviting with good food. The hotel itself could use some maintenance work but is clean with no real issues of consequence. We were in a 6th floor suite with an open porch to enjoy with a fine view of the Guinness Brewery As a side note when we landed I was tired and got lazy and didn't ask the cabbie for the fare estimate which should be 22-24 Euros from the airport, He took us for a bit of a joy ride @ an additional 20 Euro. Don't make the same mistake, and always ask for the receipt, so there is recourse with the cab regulator, if you are overcharged.
"cheery smiley check in staff!"
Location excellent for the hop on hop off bus and looks out onto the Guinness area of the city. Also excellent for walking into the city. They have a multistorey car park which is the reason I booked the hotel as it is difficult to find a hotel in the middle of the city
