"Nice convenient hotel"
The Aston Marina is not a luxury pad. So dont compare with 5 star establishments. The hotel is one tower in an apartment complex of 5 residential towers. Rooms are large generally as they are either 1 or 2 bedroom apartments. Furniture seems dated but overall comfortable. Superior rooms offer smoking but deluxe rooms are non smoking. The lobby lounge allows smoking. Que at front desk can be long between 12-2 pm. Its 32 floors are served by 2 guest elevators. Theres a service lift that you can use if waiting for the guest lifts seem dreadful. Breakfast spread is decent. The staff seem nice, dedicated and professional. I stayed here because it is near the highway to the airport and travel time to from airport is about 30-40 minutes. I would stay here again if i dont want to go to Plaza Indonesia or Kuningan area. Oh the smoking area outside lobby restaurant is mosquito infested. Please do something about it.
"if only they could perform better maintenance and improve cleanliness"
I like the condo-tel concept of this hotel. got a 2-bed room with a kitchen that includes electric stove in it. unfortunately all these great facilities were not backed with great services and maintenance. most of the appliances inside the room were stained, filthy bathroom, seemed like the windows hadnt been cleaned for months. once you enter the elevator, you can smell the strong cigarette odor, as if all the floors were all smoking room. fortunately the buffet breakfast was good, has a lot of varieties of food and beverages. the swimming pool is shared with the apartment, hence most of the time it will be very crowded in late afternoon.

I have been in this hotel in my first visit to indonesia almost two nights , before my trip to jawa , then I came back to it after my trip , I am Very enjoying to stay at aston marina. Very friendly staff. Very good rooms I am proud of them all especially the most friendly person and the most beautiful face i met in my first visit to indonesia "Indriani" / lounge and bar". "Que sooooo long for check in"
I stay at room in 15th floor, I dont understand its not in a middle on the night why you put staff only one for check in. Where all the other staff'' I'm sorry to sending you a review like this but this is still operational time. Why you let your guest que like this' Please improve your service. I know your hotel can do more better than this.
"Budget hotel/residencestaff dedicated poor management"
I have been in this hotel almost two weeks and was convenient to me to go to work, but i really can'tt believe how this hotel is managed. Room equipment is really minimal, they just give to you one roll of toilet paper a day , and they don't change add every day. At the fourth day I have to request to reception and I gor only after 3 times and after I went down to speak with in charge manager . 1 roll of toilet paper in 4 days! Bathroom has not face or hand towel but just to big towel! The best part is also come when you need a laundry, which in service hotel is a basic matter. You have to call when you need the service , but as difference from other hotel they don't delivery to you if you don't ask it. Off course get ready to call 2-3 times to get the laundry back to your room, don't bet on single call. Then during my stay the do have only one lift working which make time consuming to go up and down from your room especially in the morning. Breakfast is not exciting . Staff is very polite and try to help you but i do believe that the above problem ( toilet paper, towel ) come from management. Rooms area also quite noisy due to Jakarta high traffic I will not recommend this hotel at all.
