The hotel is in a perfect position, at the limit of the pedonal area. Room is nice for 2 people, we were 4, children don't pay, so a little bit small for us. The bathroom is really nice. Restaurant is cheaper than the other in the center and the food was better. Rooms are cleane.
"Good hotell in the center of Bratislava"
Friendly staff and nice, big rooms. WiFi was very quick. The breakfast was very good with different choices. The hotel is only 5-10 walk to the old city. The only problem was the aircondition/heating system - it was very hot in the rooms. Finally we managed to open the window.
"Thank you Trip Advisor"
After some research on Trip Advisor booked 5 nights at The Austria Trend we were not disappointed once again a great hotel. We had a large room, pleasant and polite staff and a lovely breakfast of scrambled egg bacon sausage beans cold meats cheese croissants etc. and omelettes to order. Hotel in good position and we found it very quiet at night although they have a busy conference centre. would certainly stay here again. This hotel is only ten minutes walk from the bus station where you can buy tickets to Vienna for only five euros each way the buses run every hour when you get off the bus you catch the underground to the centre 2 euros each way
"Clean and shiny - great breakfast!"
Came here for a Presidency event in the Summer. Good choice for a business trip. Bit tucked away but old town close enough. Recommended - v tasty breakfast. I wangled a suite- there is a business Centre on top floor for extra coffee and pastries!
"Modern hotel close to the Old Town"
Stayed one night end November 2016. Overall, I was rather satisfied: - Room: in the 4th floor, clean and well decorated (all fournitures and appliances look brand new). Free safe. - Breakfast: good enough, with a fair choice of salty and sweet food. Show cooking. - Location: well located, at close-walking distance of the Old Town and some tourist attractions such as the Blue Church. 2 km. far away from the bus station (be aware: our taxi driver asked us 18 euros for this distance, since he pretended that there is a minimum price of 15 euros plus 1,5 euros for each piece of luggage; we checked later on with the staff at the reception-desk who confirmed us that the price for this should have been no more than 7-8 euros... she advised to book a taxi directly with them, something we made later on with good results). - Services: there is a very small fitness room area in the 5th floor, including a sauna. All in all, an OK hotel for a short stay in Bratislava. I liked the design of the facade and particularly how it is illuminated at night (see photo).
