"Fabulous Central Hotel in Quiet Location"
We recently stayed at the Ayre Hotel Astoria Palace for a three night stay at the end of October 2016. We were given a rather large room to accommodate three people on the 5th floor, which consisted of one huge bedroom and a large entry room which is where a rollaway bed had been placed for one of our party and was not cramped in anyway and the bathroom was half the size of the main bedroom again. It was very clean. The hotel staff were also very helpful in advising the best places to visit during our stay. The hotel was situated centrally in the old town of Valencia but away from any major traffic or footfall. We didn't use the restaurant services offered for breakfast and evening meal as we found plenty of little cafes and places to grab a bite to eat within the City. We did, however, have a drink in the hotel bar on a couple of evenings during our stay and found the prices to be very competitive but not overly expensive as some hotel bars charge within the City. We enjoyed our stay here very much and if we get to visit Valencia again we will return.
"Perfect location, nice accomodation"
I just returned from Valencia. It was a very interesting experience. Fortunately, I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. It is perfect located...quite in the center of the old town, 100 meters away from the main street. You can;t get better than this. When it comes to the interior settings, one can find some improvements to be done. For example the furniture has many scatches and stains. The wals are also scratched and need to be repainted. The bathroom sink had some craks. Outside was rainning and the wtaer was dripping from the roof inside the breakfast lounge located at the 9th floor. But, hoping that the hotel will got through a rehabilitation program, I would recommend it to anyone who want to be in the heart of Valencia.

"Really nice hotel and Staff"
Stayed at this hotel for a week for the MotoGP 2016. Its location is in the middle of the old town with easy access to all amenities and parking nearby. The reception is reletivley small with a bar/lounge area opposite with comfy seating. This area can get very busy and seating is limited. Cocktails and drinks are very reasonable. We stayed on the 6th floor and the room was lovely with no noise from the outside. The room had laminate wood floors and the footsteps from the room above were easily heard. Our room was inter-linking and used by other guests. The door between these rooms and sound proofing was terrible, allowing you to hear every move and noise they made. The toilet in the room sounded like a jet engine when flushed and you could hear the toilets from surrounding rooms being flushed also. The room did not have any tea/coffee facilities, iron or board and were not available when we asked reception. The hotel does however have a laundry facility reasonably priced. The breakfast was really good and loads of choice with individual items available to order i.e. omelette, poached eggs etc (€12 per person if room only). Also as the breakfast is served on the 9th floor and the views over Valencia are fantastic. The staff are really helpful and nice. Over all this is a really nice hotel and if I stay again I would avoid the linked rooms at the end of the corridor.
