Natural environment with many beautiful flowers and trees. There is a very unique cave-in restaurant with romantic environment. Ideal for candlelight dinner for couples. Friendly and helpful staff.
"Heaven on Earth"
From the start our journey began by being picked up from KL by the lovely Zamn who drove us 3 hours to Ipoh. The hotel is very caring and sent us snacks for the road which we appreciated very much, and Zamn was very friendly and answered all the questions we had about food and culture ect. We then got to the beautiful retreat and were taken away by the beauty, the peaceful atmosphere, and the facilities in the resort. Our garden villa was very private, clean, and spacious. We loved the complementary water in the Labu Sayong which is offered in the room. The place is very one with nature which is like no other resort we visited. The housekeeping took every chance they could to clean the room and they were very friendly as were all the staff at the hotel. My husband arranged a surprise for my birthday & Raymond kindly helped him by setting up all what he required. There was not a big variety in the menu but every dish we tried was delicious and we did not get bored from the food. However there is a close by supermarket for those who want other options. Overall we enjoyed our stay and we cannot wait till our next visit.
Awesome place to rest. So peaceful and harmony environment. Staff very helpful and commited. 3 days 2 nights is a minimum to stay to feel the aura of Banjaran Hotspring. Overall, the best place that me and my family ever been in Malaysia.
"The annual trip to Banjaran"
This was our 4th time to Banjaran, our annual getaway spot for a 2-night stay. Picking up from the previous review. We have to complement the improvement made on the breakfast served. The food was excellent and freshly served. Thumbs up to their Nasi Lemak Istimewa (must try) And for the first time, we experienced the jungle walk to Lost World of Tambun theme park. Inevitably mosquitos accompanied us the entire journey, but it was a good "hike" nevertheless. Also for the first time, after numerous consideration, we decided to wine in Jeff's Cellar and it was a whole new experience. Surrounded by stalagmites, the experience is truly unique. Overall, it's been a wonderful stay. I can't imagine it being any better. We will return soon for the amazing hospitality.
We had after dinner drinks and snacks. Pricy menu. Food average. Wide range of wines and cocktails. We were informed that the restaurant is not open to the public. Interesting from a novelty point of view. Not often can one sit in a dimly lit cave surrounded by 200million year old stalactites and stalagmites. Other facilities are holiday chalets, hot springs and meditation caves.
