"Fantastic stay "
Stayed here for 2 nights in March and had a really relaxing time. We were upgraded to a garden villa which was amazing with private pool and jacuzzi, loads of outside space, large bedroom and dressing room with huge bathroom. Bathroom toiletries are of a high standard and even mosquito spray is provided. The location is fantastic and the facilities are too, I had a guided meditation session in the crystal cave which was a great experience. We had a complimentary head massage which was nice and the spa area was lovely, we didn't try any of the other treatments, but used all the facilities including hot dipping pools, steam cave, swimming pool, gym and dr fish pool. The only slight negative was we ordered room service on the 2nd night and the first 3 things we tried to order were unavailable, however, we were brought a complimentary bottle of wine to compensate for this which was a welcome touch. Food and drink prices aren't cheap but were comparable to other 5 star locations in Malaysia. We could easily have stayed another night.
"Amazing hotspring retreat, however...."
It is an amazing place to relax. Resort staff are very friendly and helpful. Clean villas and facilities. Facilities include: 2 restaurants, hot spring sauna in a cave, dr fish pond ( my wife n i fed fhe fish with our dead skin legs multiple times daily lol), reflexology, yoga, crystal cave, meditation center spa services, fitness center, library, 24h buggy service, transport services, etc. It was a relaxing 3d2n for our anniversary. Very close to lost world of tambun theme park, and they do provide transport services. They also were very kind setting up our room for our 2nd anniversary with rose petals and a cake. Kudos. Our villa was a waterside villa, facing tbe pond with fishes u can throw bread to feed them. Wonderful king size bed, one pool and constantly hot spring water jacuzzi. Large lounge area with bose stereo. Not many tv channels to choose from but good wifi service so we ended up watching online. It was all fitting the price we were paying, except for one; food / restaurant. Our waiter was not explaining that the breakfast buffet includes able to chose 2 ala carte meals as prt of the breakfast, coffee was terribly bitter, salmon with eggs was salty, tuna sashimi +rice+ green tea was like water on rice. However Shaksuka and beef burger was nice, egg duck char kuey teow was also tasteful. Crab brisque soup was delicious We then tried in room service dining, unfortunately our food arrived cold, and worse part is chips and pizza that are cold are not really enjoyable. But on the plus side it was tasty. In addition to that unfortunately i developed a headache ( possibly from getting into the hot sauna then into the rain)on the 2nd day. The resort unfortunately did not have simple paracetamol, so we ended up having to drive out to the nearest 7 eleven. Would be nice if they have simple medicine handy, heck im willing to pay for it. Anywho, overall it is a great place to relax and treat yourselves to some of the spa/hotwater/reflexology. P.s. Id actually rather go across the road to get some of the food from the regular shops if we were comparing prices and food.
"Relaxing. Amazing Customer Service."
My mum, sister and I had an amazing stay here. We were greeted by a staff at the entrance which ensure everything was taken care of from the moment we exited the car. The room was the best part. We spent our whole day in the room enjoying ourselves with a private pool, Jacuzzi, resting deck, super comfortable bed, etc.The staff were great. Meanwhile, serving the meals for just three of us at the same time at The Pomelo in an unexpected timing was a great effort from the team in the kitchen. Even though, it took some time to get our food served but we were touched to see the effort and service shown. The food was very impressive as my mum loved it very much. The massages were fantastic. We would definitely be back for 3 days and 2 nights.
I went on my birthday + to celebrated wedding anniversary. The view is breathtaking & the resort is well taken care off . 2D1N…it was too short but very memorable.I love all the facilities they provided in the resort. Its an awesome place, so calming, relaxing, serene with great and friendly/lovely service from all the staff especially Mr Ruben, Mr. Kamal@Kamaruzaman & Mr. Raymond. I really love the nature greenery here. Unexpected surprise had arranged for me and my husband by the hotel when they know that we are celebrating our wedding anniversary/birthday. We love the rose petals and towel swan surprise when we got back from our dinner.Thank for a slice of delicious chocolate mud cake, it is very sweet and thoughtful. A wonderful stay & amazing caves experience!
"Excellent, Best Resort Experience Ever!!"
My wife booked a weekend stay in conjunction with my birthday. I was a bit skeptical as the this was the most expensive resort I have stayed in Malaysia. I was greeted by a staff at the entrance which ensure everything was taken care of from the moment I exited my car. The resort was one of a kind with the crystal cave, hotsprings dipping pool etc. Everthing was extremely clean and well maintained. The room was the best part. Although the facilities were excellent but I could spend my whole day in the room without going out:-a private pool, private hotspring pool, resting deck, super comfortable bed and the list could go on and on. They even decorated the room specially for my birthday with fresh flower petals!!! A very special mentioned to the Director of Operations, Mr Raymond. Raymond greeted us upon our arrival and went to great length to ensure our stay was perfect. He found the time to checked on us during breakfast to see if anything else was required and personally send us off during our check out. Price is on the high side but it was worth every penny as we came out of the resort feeling rejuvenate and refresh.
