Set on a private beach next to Abu Dhabi Mall, this vast upmarket hotel in modern towers is 5 km from Qasr al-Hosn fort and 7 km from Abu Dhabi Corniche.

Stopped here for a two day stop over. Had a lovely time the hotel is lovely the staff are very courteous and made us feel welcome, we sat out by the water on the sun loungers and the weather was very hot . Great to go home not the shopping mall next door for the air conditioning. Went to the Indian restaurant in the hotel indigo the food was amazing went both nights that we were there well worth a visit.
I am a trip advisor stalker and am always sure to read up plenty of reviews of any hotel prior to booking, having read the reviews for beach rotana everything seamed perfect for out family holiday with two children, Arrival was brilliant a spectacular lobby and amazing hotel ambience, checking in however was a different story, once checked in we we sent back to our car to drive to the next door abu dabhi mall basement, having made furthyr enquiries it was then apparent that the lower cost/apartment style rooms were very far away from the somewhat lovely hotel, far enough that it was a daily walk through a mall with beach inflatables and kids in swimwear to get to the main side (which was highly embarrassing) Also the standard and quality difference between the two sides of hotel were very different as we then viewed a regular room on the main side we noticed the apartment side was tacky old and had a dated smelly bathroom, No doubt the exterior and grounds of the hotel are amazing but i was very put off by this simple deceiving factor and would not choose a rotana hotel on this basis.
I visited this hotel for a week using the "all inclusive " dine a round " deal booked through letsgo2 travel. The hotel is very elegant & clean. On arrival we were very warmly welcomed . The classic room was quite small but nicely furnished but quite dark .Shower was only luke warm. Towels were changed twice daily with a turn down bedding service. All staff are so friendly & helpful pampering & treating us like royalty! We were given a dine around menu in all restaurants that I found very limiting but the food in all restaurants is exceptional . We could chose 4 cocktails & spirits & soft drinks. Without all inclusive we would have paid a fortune. Drinks were about £10.00 each & a meal about£100.00 . This hotel seems to be a busy conference centre .The pool was nice as was the free indoor Jacuzzi & spa. I would have loved to have spent more time in Traders Vic a great bar with live Latin music but like the other bars absolutely stank of tobacco , such a shame. Would I go back' definitely ! great location, facilities , staff & food.
"Poor buffet restraunt"
Too much raw uncooked food displayed, fish & stinking food displayed, limited variety, not meeting 5 star hotel standard. Not many variety for all nations. Based on 22 days stayed at hotel, no variety, not meeting international standards.
Hotel is close to Abu Dhabi mall which is convenient if your office is close, its in the older part of town, the hotel itself is old and can use refurbishment, airport is about 30 min away. it has bars and different restaurants
