"Great Friendly/fun place to stay"
I highly recommend this place for adults to get away and relax. The staff is very friendly. The food is amazing other then the breakfast choice.(But your could order room service which is a bit better) All other meals are ordered off a menu and are hot and fresh and very well done. The staff here really goes the extra mile to make you happy and to ensure you have a good time. The rooms were nice and beds were very comfortable. We were on the 5th floor and the view was amazing. Only complaint was not enough water pressure but we managed. All in all great place and we would definitely return. Oh,,, there is NOOOO daytime or night time entertainment either,,, but lots of fun things to do in town if you leave the resort.
"Do not waste your money"
Terrible stay. We were put in a room on the basement level, which is connected to the beach and the pool. However, the whole floor was humid like pool lockers, and the AC in the room barely functioned. The bell boys took forever to bring down our luggage, and I had to go back upstairs to nudge them. There were no towels in the room, and there still were none after we came back from dinner even though we did request them in person before we left for dinner. The elevators were so small and slow like those in some of cheap economy hotels in NYC. We were horrified to find out that the shower head is all clogged up and only a few holes actually spout water. We couldn't wait to check out of this place!!!! Good thing that we stayed there for the night only so that we can accommodate our early flight the following morning. The overall decor is stuck in the '80s.
"Amazing service staff"
Met some amazing people. Marisela and Angel stood out in the dining area, and the pool and beach area, Enmanuel and Efrain made every effort with support from Michell Benito and Gaspar. Great customer relations! The hotel itself is small, the front desk is often busy and waiting to speak with a representative is to be expected regardless of your reason for being there, whether it is checking in, checking out or asking a simple question. Our room was always clean, but towels seemed to be on ration. We had to request them twice, only had a hand towel once and one washcloth on another occasion. The plumbing is poor and the shower and sink drained extremely slow and toilet would not always flush. During the week, canopies were not available for the pool beds and garbage floated in the pool. We found out from Felipe of a free bike tour he was doing. Offered every morning, we highly recommend and wish we had known about it earlier in our visit. We felt the hotel was working hard to become a place visitors would want to return and with facility development, pride in cleanliness and continued support of the friendly staff the BelAir Collection could be just that. It is an affordable option in Cancun.
"Bad, bad, bad"
Bad building maintenance; bad service (the employes are nice people, but not enough in number --usually one attendant in reception for hundreds rooms--, offering wrong information etc.); bad food; and so on...
"Below the standard"
Poor room condition, very bad wifi, atm out of service. Great pool, beautiful lobby and nice service. Compared to other hotels, the quality is below the standard, requiring some renewals and investments.
