The Bela Vista Hotel & Spa is an historic Palace built in the early 20th. The property was originally a private mansion and 11 hotel rooms from 1934. It was at that time, one of the only hotel in the Algarve. The "Palace" is a mythical place in the Algarve and one of the few preserved historic houses. In 2009, the owners decided to embark on a new challenge: the opening of a luxury 5 stars hotel of 38 rooms with restaurant, while respecting the "history" and the authenticity of this place.
Located on the stunning Praia da Rocha beach in Portimão, the Bela Vista Hotel can be reached from Faro International Airport in around 1 hour, or from Lisbon Airport in about 2 hours 30 minutes. The hotel itself is located on a rocky outcrop above the beach, providing a secluded environment that allows guests to detach themselves from Praia da Rocha's activity when required, and access it at will when desired. The hotel has private access to the beach, and guests can also reach Portimão for shopping in a few minutes by car, taxi or bus. Private parking is available at the hotel.
