"A waste of location and resources "
This could have been an Iconic hotel considering its location , massive structure and resources. However it turns out to be a damn squid!!! It's location is fab which is why we booked it , the check in was smooth the lobby is fine. We had booked club premier rooms x 2 , we were allotted temporary rooms as our twin tower view rooms were to be available after 6pm . Turned out that the temporary rooms were much better than the final ones. They have renovated the rooms but for some strange reason forgot to renovate the bathroom........the bathrooms have leakages and plumbing issues and I had to sleep In a room with a virtually non functional leaking bathroom which could not be repaired at night . They promptly changed the room in the morning realising that it was beyond repair..... The housekeeping staff was very slack and would not provide towels for couple of hours...only after threatening their manager with a poor review on trip advisor got them into action. The club lounge was a make shift one and not of the level that you would expect in general. As part of the club premier room you are entitled to 20% discount on Food and beverage including room service. However if you order late at night they conveniently would forget to offer it to you only reassuring you that it will be done at the the time of check out. At the time of check out the staff does not even bother checking if discounts have been offered and just blindly tell you it's done...only on insisting and speaking to the manager I had to force them to cross check only to realise that they had again forgotten it. Inspite of acknowledging their fault, unfortunately no apologies offered. This is the state of customer care at this property.... I feel like kicking myself for not staying at the marriott considering I'm a marriott gold member. Please be careful when u stay here!
It's location is superb plus it has a big mall which made our stay even more more convenient in terms of shopping and eating plus everything is easily accessible from here. We got the club premium suite rooms decor and layout was fine plus it had extra space and were perfect for family of five. Our youngest liked the pool it has a good pool. Breakfast at the Apple was rushy but it was good. Overall we had a very good stay at Berjaya!

It was my first time in Malaysia, and it was a great surprise. The berjaya time square is a one stop shop. I have been fascinated by how huge it was. We took two rooms. The rooms were spacious very well decorated and equipped and clean. The service given was excellent, particularly the consierge, they gave you good shopping tips nice place to go and a great customer care. The pool gym and restaurants 10/10. Moreover another great aspect of this hotel is that it has more than 10 storey of shops in its mall plus many entertainments, bowling and a fully indoor attraction park. Finally it is situated at the perfect spot with a monorail station in the premises itself. I will be back to malaysia kuala Lumpur next year on the same period and without any doubt I will book again at the BTSH it's simply the best.
Stayed for three nights ,good service enjoyable breakfast central location up graded room to "Premier " fantastic view ! Busy but well organised , the swimming pool was a nice place to sit and enjoy some peace and quite. We were pleased with our stay and would recommend the Berjaya to fellow travellers.
"Not that impressed"
The check in was good, but placing a cash deposit to the receptionist was a bit strange. Reception also give several complimentary drinks vouchers, more to follow. The room was good.......but the air con failed to work, we reported it, the work men assessed, confirmed and rescheduled to repair later the following day. (It was 30degrees!!). The air con did not get repaired the following day, reception did phone at 1030pm to ask if anyone had been. We dined at the hotel restaurant on the 14 floor, this is where the complimentary drinks vouchers were given to the waiter whilst ordering our meal. We didn't get the drinks until during the meal and then were charged for the drinks at the end of the meal. The manager offered an apology for not informing that the drinks vouchers were not valid in the hotel restaurant, but no complimentary drinks offered for the hassle. There were no welcome drinks which we also had vouchers for and so we found the vouchers were a con. On checkout we waited 25minutes due to lack of reception staff and once we received our deposit the concierge asked for 10 rg for not carrying the cases to our privately booked taxi. We booked an alternate hotel for the return journey.
