At the beginning of October 2016 I stayed at the Bilderberg Parkhotel for two nights. I was in Rotterdam under my business trip. This 4 star hotel, that is located directly in the city centre, offers very good services - I recommend it.
"Very Comfortable Hotel with style, close to main sights"
Wide array of rooms available, ranging from mid price (€€) to expensive (€€€), I spent 4 nights in the front tower, with great views of the city and no noise whatsoever from traffic. Spacious room with very nice bathroom and wonderful bed. Super sound system available in the room via WiFi, so own music could be played. Walls between rooms were a bit thin, next door neighbour could be heard snorring. Great breakfast, with only one coffee machine, so always a line-up in front.
"best hotel in Rotterdam"
I have stayed at this hotel twice now and it's always very clean and the staff is always very friendly. I haven't had any problems so far but then again I did not manage to find time to try out the food. The only problem was that sometimes you could smell smoke in the room.
"Business with Pleasure"
I spent 2 fantastic days in Rotterdam in Bilderberg Parkhotel. Hotel location is perfect, next to Museums and very close to city center ( walking distance). Building itself is very interesting. Check-in was smooth, staff very polite and friendly. Room was in the main building, very spacious, clean, bright, with the fantastic view. It seems that the room was recently renovated, all the furniture was new, bathroom is brand new, with all necessary amenities and sufficient number of towels .Bed was king size and very comfortable. Buffet breakfast was very nice, with good offer of meals. In the hotel is Michelin star restaurant, but I didn't manage to check it, so I can't give you more information. All together, very nice experience in very nice city.
"Hard to describe"
I stayed in this hotel for two nights. Came to R. on business and decided to extend my trip by one night to spend more time in this beautiful city to indulge in architecture and art on offer. I honestly don't know how to summarize my experience in Bilderberg. After an extremely slow and tedious check-in, I was given a tiny room in the back of the hotel. Good noise-wise, but quite a bit dated (I'm under the impression the main hotel building is in better shape). You walk through the hallway where not only pain on the wall is peeling, but there are signs of moisture coming up the wall. Small bathroom, tiny shower, no space for toiletries. I asked the reception desk staff for some brochures on Rotterdam attractions and had a feeling I was asking for a left kidney to be donated. The reception guy whom I asked for a pair of slippers and these brochures had enough of my requests immediatelly! The following day, I came back to the hotel after having walked from 9 am til 2 pm and wanted to rest a bit before continuing, only to find out that my room had not been cleaned yet! At 2 pm! Location of the hotel is great, it is very well located for the Museumpark visits, for Witte de Withstraat and generally for the central part of the city, breakfast on offer is good (nothing to rave about), but small things that make you want to come back are definitely missing. The gentleman processing my check out the evening before departure did a fine job, as did some restaurant staff during my stay, but generally, I don't think this place will see me again.
