Located in the closest neighbourhood of the ancient Roman road Aurelia, the Black hotel is only a few kilometres away from the Vatican City and 10 min by car from a golf course.
The hotel enjoys an easy access to the sea and the city.
"Bed bugs, thefts, seedy hotel"
Co-workers and I who were attending the ESC Conference were booked into this hotel and could not escape quickly enough...2 people received numerous bed bug bites, others had money stolen from their rooms (no signs of forced entry, so it appears to have been an "inside" job), and yet another co-worker experienced flooding in her room, from a malfunctioning shower drain. The hotel is dark and is in an undesirable neighborhood. Due to health and safety concerns, we checked out of the hotel. Messages from our group to the General Manager, expressing our concerns and requesting refunds, were never answered. Avoid this hotel at all costs.
"A great modern hotel!!"
Is a modern hotel, just outside the Centre of Rome, with all the amenities you can ask a traveler. The rooms were very nice and comfortable and the most importnt, all employees were always willing to serve us. Breakfast was excellent, in a charming and peaceful environment. For sure, a beautiful modern hotel to stay !!
"So bad service"
The rooms is very small and service also bad , we not get normal answers about easy and usual questions. Even the room was very hot and when we ask about air-condition they was need to make it over resaption , ( on this way they save electricity) I not advice this hotel for couples
My husband and I went here for our 25th wedding Anniversary September 2016 Never a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The staff were rude and not helpful what so ever. The room had two drawers that were 12inches wide behind a set of chains hanging from the ceiling with two hangers. The shower door did not open or close any further than it is in the photos, water all over the floor after having the only shower we had in the place. It was situated next to a motorway with no pathways to walk on, nothing near to the hotel that you would have risked walking to as it was very secluded and a rough dirty area, three miles away from the start of the city Vatican walls. We were booked In to stay for 1 week. We left the next morning and booked in to another hotel. I strongly recommend not to book this hotel very disappointing.
"Very disappointed "
Hotel is clean, but very true to the name black. If you use stairs it's black no Hall lights only the lights on the room numbers. Staff at reception and bar are very friendly and helpful. Huge telly in room but only Italian channels,no tea/coffee facilities :-( Overall clean but disappointing.
