The Blue Tree Faria Lima is a good option in the heart of Sao Paulo. The hotel has nice-sized rooms for the business traveller. The TV has CNN International for English speakers. The breakfast is good, although the menu does not change so its repetitious for a long stay. The rooftop view is amazing, but you will want to duck inside when the helicopters land on the roof. The pool is very small and not that enjoyable despite the views from the roof. If the hotel replaced the worn carpets, I would give it 4 stars.
"Quick stop - friendly staff"
We stayed here as it was within walking distance of our office in Sao Paulo. We checked in quickly for a shower, as we flew all night, before leaving for the day. The staff was quick, efficient, and friendly which was much appreciated! The hotel is clean and had needed necessities. It is an older, somewhat dated hotel but no complaints here. The breakfast buffet was large, but I always like places that allow for an omelette to be made which the Blue Tree does not. All in all I would stay here again because the location was excellent for my business needs.
"Good hotel in an excellent location"
Very good hotel, nice rooms, great shower. It is in a perfect location in Faria Lima, half a block from EATALY! Breakfest buffet is ok, not wonderful but has good food options. Gym is small and dated, but ok for one day and is located inthe roof top, with a nice view od Sao Paulo.
"All things considered, very good. "
Room has been fine, with great views. Facilities ok,although bed hard. Great location. Super staff. Excellent breakfasts. Super views from floor 24. Worth visiting Eataly around the corner. Unusual to have windows that open on floor 8!
"Not up to what was expected..."
First the good stuff..., the staff. Friendly and eager to help. Breakfast was OK. Now, I had stayed at Blue Tree hotels before, albeit a while ago, but this one left me with a feeling of not wanting to return. An expensive hotel that lacks of the usual bathroom amenities (only a small shampoo and a small hair conditioner)..., no q tips, or cotton, or a comb, or none of the other things that one comes to expect of a hotel of this caliber. The sliding balcony doors wouldn't shut (room 1501), causing the street noise to filter throughout the night. Conclusion: not recommended.
