"Bodhi group stay"
Very nice hotel within walking distance of shops and restaurants. It is a boutique hotel with a nice pool, restaurant / bar and rents bikes, has a tour desk and free wifi. They have a nice breakfast buffet in the patio downstairs
"New wing added and the old chef has gone"
We popped in here to have our favourite Bodhi meals but were disappointed as the standard has dropped and the meals werent present as advertised in the menu. Chicken in taro basket was served without the basket !!! My meal was bland and wasnt memorable at all I didnt even bother to take any photos it was so mediocre.
"Good location, friendly staff "
We stayed here on two separate nights, with a 3 day trek in between. The first time, we arrived really early after 13 hours on the overnight train from Chang Mai. They explained check in was at 2pm so we were about to leave our cases there and go and look for a breakfast nearby, returning in the afternoon. However, someone checked out so they called after us and said the room would be ready at 10.30am - very welcome news! The rooms are a decent size, good sized shower and lots of hot water which we needed after our trek! There's a variety of food available for breakfast, sitting on a patio area - toast, pastries, fruit, salad, cooked food, omelettes made to order, yoghurt, cereal. In the second room the sir conditioning unit was a bit noisy in the night. There's a good restaurant with cheap food just a short walk away, turning left out of the hotel - Baan Nana.
"Beautiful property & charming rooms"
Really nice property in the heart of Chiang Mai's Old City. Lots of lush green spaces. Pool area upstairs was fantastic - very relaxing and idyllic. Very easy to forget you're in a fairly busy part of town. Looked forward every afternoon to come back and relax poolside for a few hours before dinner. The room itself was quite nice - very spacious with a comfortable bed and large bathroom, including an immense bathtub. Service was excellent as well - they took care of issues for us and organized transport to the airport for us. Enjoyed the breakfast buffet in the morning as well; they even put together a breakfast box for us the last morning since we were leaving before breakfast service started. Would stay here again next time we're in CM, and recommend to all our friends.
"One star hotel and worse than a motel"
This hotel is worse than a motel, two stars at best. Pros: location is ok Cons: tiny and dirty room, sheets with stains, no elevator, staff not offer to carry the luggage for customers, charge 550 baht for airport transfer at night even though it's less than 10 minutes drive.
