"World Class Spa"
Unfortunately there was a couple of functions on even though we arrived on a Sunday afternoon for an overnight treat . They must learn to not let be distracted from their regular business. We were given a complimentary upgrade and the Hotel is pleasant enough in a good way. The food is on the up but the Spa is World Class. The Spa is a must.
"A fabulous luxury country hotel"
I stayed at Boringdon Hall Hotel and Spa for one night but to be honest, I would have happily rebooked for a lot longer. This is a great hotel with fabulous staff and great attention to the guests. When we arrived, we were greeted with a cordial drink whilst checking in. The staff are polite and helpful. The room was nice and clean. My only complaint was that it was quite hot in the room and it would have been nice to be able to get some more fresh air in through the windows. My wife used the pool in the spa area which is absolutely fabulous. The place is scrupulously clean and she said it was a a pleasure to be there. Breakfast was part buffet and part cooked but met with the standards that you would expect for the price you are paying (which has not always been my experience:-) All in all it was a great hotel with fabulous grounds and facilities and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone who is a looking for a quiet country stay
We stayed here on Friday for a spa break to celebrate our anniversary. Everything was faultless from the moment we arrived and were given a refreshing welcome drink - to leaving and being handed a departing gift. The hotel has been refurbished to a very high standard, the spa is stunning but what really makes the stay is all the staff - big congratulations to them all, they really make the hotel and spa 5 star.
"Birthday treat-spa break"
My husband booked a night away to Boringdon Hall as a birthday treat for myself! It was simply perfect from start to finish.. the room was clean, spacious and had everything you needed. The food was delicious and service in the restaurant was outstanding! The staff couldn't be anymore accommodating.. lots of personal touches which made us feel special! We had hot stone massage treatments in the spa, which I would highly recommend. The spa area is modern and clean, the hydro pool is so relaxing and leads to a outside jacuzzi area... If you want a luxurious spa break away with a high standard of service Boringdon Hall has it all.. can't wait to return!
"Myself and my partner stayed here from Wednesday to Friday , our first breakfast was a disaster"
Stayed at Boringdon Hall which is a 4 star hotel and spa , lovely surroundings stepped in history but the food was not what you expect from a 4 star establishment , our first breakfast was a disaster where upon I found a long black hair in when we complained they said we take it back and get me another one which I refused . on the 2nd breakfast I ordered 2 poached eggs on toast and got a full English and my partner had asked for full English without tomato and mushrooms which hadn't been removed .The hotel general manager said we could have a complimentary evening meal so we attended the restaurant and the Hotel duty manager assured us that it would be vip treatment and assured myself that the head chef was fully aware of the problems we had had previously . S o we were offered some bread and unbelievable when my partner cut open his roll there was a hair in it all bread is made on site so surely there a major flaw in there food prep stage for this too happen.
