"Great hotel but breakfast expensive"
Very nice clean quiet hotel. Spacious room, comfortable bed, great shower. Slightly quirky layout with glass window between bed and bath and with toilet "hidden" in a wardrobe but once you figure that it's fine. Noodles at restaurant excellent. Breakfast good but at RMB148 that's a bit of a rip-off considering the room price which is already very high for China. Wifi about as fast as a geriatric snail. I would have given 5* but for the useless wifi. I will use this hotel again next time I'm in Xi'an but Branley please sort your Internet/wifi speed, so many reviewers have complained about this, it really isn't acceptable in an expensive business hotel.
"A great Hotel"
This was a great hotel, it spoiled us for the rest of our trip. The shower was "awesome". We loved our room! The food and service were also exceptional. We loved our breakfasts here! I would recommend this hotel which has great amenities and lots of personality.
"Inconsistent servise but rooms excellent"
Upon arrival with 2 business colleagues, we were shocked at different charges for bond. Mine was RMB2,900, another was RMB1,000 and another was only RMB500. When questioned, they appeared annoyed at us asking. It is a shame because the hotel transfer was excellent, perhaps best described as a very fast rally car drive through wet conditions which has you braking along the whole 40 minutes, but the car was very comfortable. The rooms are very high standard. Water in bathrooms is from natural springs 2,800 meters below ground and is free - claim to have healing qualities. English is a problem. Breakfast is up there with the best buffets around. Beds very comfortable.
"Service Not Good"
This hotel is convenience for my business, but not good to make me feel too welcomed , and service is not too well , staff I feel are not good training from my experiences, and room nice design but temperature control not good. Not clean and wifi weak for a business style hotel. Needs to improve lots. Very low air quality in hotel ( pollution)
From my really very poor experience of this so called "5 stars" hotel , the quality is very low. The staff try really hard to smile at guests , and greetings are many but it is too much and most annoying. Smiling is one thing but very poor English levels is the real issue here. I had to get my own luggage from the taxi, then the check-in was very slow , and very unfriendly . The wifi is very weak, and in some places in the hotel almost unusable. Xian is very cold in December and air pollution is severe, I couldn't control the room temperature to my liking ( obviously not working), so I opened the window to taste thick pollution...just terrible. My room was park facing , but I couldn't see it for the smog. The room was narrow and not clean ( I got thumb marks on the tap faucets... disgusting). The buffet breakfast was very low quality , with everything cold or luke warm. I was most happy to leave , and then I noticed an Australian Flag outside, I looked for the company 'Branley' hotels to complain , but found nothing on the net . So here is my complaint . R
