"Great Hotel and strongly recommended"
I booked for 4 nights as the first time for me in Dusseldorf. The location is wonderful between the new and old town. I have been called by my name when I just parked my car and it was a good impression of the great hospitality. Public parking is nearby but you have the option to let the concierge to Park for you. The parking was quite expensive 30€/day and you can pay at the check out. The room was first class and luxury with nice furniture . I upgraded my room to suite with good offer from the reception. The room was quite big and there was two bathrooms and not to mention the electronic control of everything including lights, AC and Curtains. I was told that the breakfast will finish at 11.00, but the next day I came 10.45 and they were closed as there was a brunch. I talked to the manager and she happily offered me a breakfast from the menu for free. The lobby was quite big and luxury and it has a touch of class. Finally, the concierge always give me bottles of water when I start driving which was a great thing not to mention the great help from Guests assistant for attractions and places to visit.
"Peaceful & Professional"
On my first visit to Dusseldorf, I had the opportunity to spend (3) nights at the Breidenbacker Hof Hotel in "Altstadt" the old town in central Dusseldorf. This is a great location that allows for walking to many shops, restaurants and attractions also enjoyed by many locals. I knew I was in for a good stay when the bellboy the first person I encounter out of my taxi called me by name. Now it does help that my baggage tag clearly spells out my name, nonetheless, he was on his game. I was given a 2nd floor room as requested next to the lift and I could not have been happier. The design, craftsmanship and quality of the room was thoroughly first class. In addition the cleanliness of the room and L'Occitane bath products were exquisite. Breakfast was included with my rate and they present a wonderful and extensive layout of buffet items as well as eggs and breakfast meats to order in a beautiful airy light filled room with a view of the street. I was told by the front desk clerk who walked me to my room that "I was going to enjoy my stay and I'd made the right choice of hotel." Little did I know how right she was. Fantastic stay. Recommended for all.
Truly a 5-star hotel. The rooms, location, amenities and most importantly the staff really make this a memorable place to stay in. Would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area with the need for a 5-star property to stay in. I've stayed in a couple of other hotels in Dusseldorf, both also 5-star but they hardly compare to the Breidenbacher Hof.
