"A weekend in Paris."
Excellent hotel, great service, great location near major attractions and nearby restaurants and bistros. I would recommend this hotel wholeheartedly. Its worth every penny spent. Some of those attractions are within walking distance.
"Very comfortable and friendly hotel"
This hotel is very well managed and is very close to shopping and the metro. The staff of the hotel was very helpful and friendly. You can also purchase museum tickets at the desk. The bathroom was surprisingly modern and very large.
"Perfect location in Paris for a first time tourist"
Hotel Brighton is in a great spot, just across Rue de Rivoli from the Tulleries gardens and right down the street from the Louvre museum. Most sites in Paris are within walking distance of the hotel: 5 minutes to the Louvre, 15 minutes to Notre Dame, etc. The hotel is not overlay large, so some may prefer larger property with larger rooms. I was rarely in the room other than at night, so it was never an issue. Very clean and the staff are very friendly with multiple language proficiency. I had a great view of the gardens and could see from the Eiffel Tower to the Louvre from our room.
"View and Location A+"
I stayed for four nights in December and can highly recommend the hotel. The view from the executive room had the Louvre on the left the D'Orsay across the gardens and the Eiffel Tower on the right. The bed was very comfortable, the room very clean and spacious for a Paris hotel - most are postage stamp size. The bathroom was roomy and well appointed too. The only complaint is that the mini-fridge did not work well so it was barely cool. The subway station is across the street and the buses stop nearby. An easy walk to most of the shopping areas. Two cafes nearby so I didn't use the breakfast room because for a vegetarian the expense doesn't justify the limited options. Did not use the wifi. The lobby/reception was beautifully decorated and they put up a Xmas tree. Staff was very helpful. When I come back to Paris I'll stay here again!
"Nice area, Small room , terrible view"
Got screwed by front desk getting a hotel shuttle to airport, might of been the front desk gentlemans friend, she drove a black van and was on her bluetooth phone the whole way to the airport!!!! I had to hear the whole conversation. Was on honeymoon, notified two times by email, notified when I checked in, however only on our last night was I upgraded.
