"From end of Apr. till May 2nd, 2017. for tour in Paris"
The location is very nice just beside Musse du Louvre and park. Good for connection to the center of Paris tour. One thing room is relatively small due to old hotel buidling but service and location is best.
Second time staying here. Get a room facing Tuilleres Garden-worth every penny! we were 4 so we had 2 rooms-414, king corner, nice size; 412-2 doubles, smaller. Both are nicely furnished, clean, with French balconies. The view to the right is Place d Concorde; straight away over the gardens is Musee D Orsay; and to the left is the Louvre. The breakfast if you get it included is very nice with both hot and cold items. Has 2 elevators- one holds 4 comfortably the other is a TRIP for 2! Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Décor is getting frayed on the edges but still fine. We will stay on our next trip.
The location can't be beat, the room was clean, nice and very spacious. The breakfast was lovely, the staff friendly and helpful - all around great trip. This was my second time to this hotel and I will definitely return the next time I am in Paris.
"Everything in a good balance"
An old building offers some challenges, but the location is excellent and the atmosphere in a rather small hotel is nice and relaxing. I got easily all the services I needed. Rome prices are reasonable considering the location.
"Wonderful & Amazing Staff"
Hôtel Brighton-Paris is a lovely, quaint establishment with a charming facade that faces right across the Tuileries Jardin and steps away from the Louvre including the Musée d'Orsay as well as a metro stop. It's accessibility is a redeeming feature as it's on Rue de Rivoli so you can easily walk to the 8th district or explore more of the 1st. It's admittedly in a touristy area yet a good starting point for a first timer as many locals in the area can speak English very well and you are close to most of the prominent museums. Rooms: The classic rooms are modest, if not outdated, but more than sufficient for one's needs. The restroom is modern and plumbing worked! Rooms tend to run fairly warm so it's probably better for a winter than a summer stay. The lounge and dining area are small but very beautiful and smartly furnished. Brunches: it's a very good, varied selection of pastries, eggs, bacon, sausages, cheeses, fruits, juices, cereals, yoghurts, and organic bread. The quality was great and we were impressed that their teas were always from the eminent Parisian tea shop Mariages Frères which we appreciated. Service: words are not adequate to express my heartfelt gratitude to the amazing staff at this hotel. I wish to acknowledge specific members who truly went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. Anne: this girl is an amazing individual and an equally impressive concierge. She is an extremely capable staff member who helped me to ensure I got tickets to the Louvre, always checked to make sure I had a good connection to the WIFI, offered extremely good advice such as where to shop and eat, and lastly, she made it possible for us to stay at the hotel another night when it was fully booked after we had an unexpected medical emergency and needed to stay in the city for a little longer than we anticipated. We don't know how she did it but we are so, so grateful to this amazing woman. She is an incredibly valuable asset to this hotel and for us, she was the epitome of Esprit de France. Jean-Luc: we were thrilled to meet such a friendly gentleman who made sure our breakfasts were excellent and running as smoothly as possible. We looked forward to seeing him every morning as we greatly appreciated his cheerfulness and helpfulness because he truly does brighten up the room every time he walks in and his absence is definitely noticed. When he is not there, the breakfast atmosphere really takes a hit and the service becomes awkward if not slow and the staff get stressed out easily. Breakfast is not the same without him nor is it as organised when he is absent. He was exceptionally hospitable and we will miss him a lot. Merci beaucoup Jean Luc! Tarek: Tarek was the first person whom we encountered at Brighton and we were very reassured by his calm, professional manner. He ensured that our check in process was smooth and without issue. He was the perfect prelude to what would be a remarkable stay for us. Merci Tarek! Rodrigo: we had the pleasure of being acquainted with this kind gentleman who made sure all of our needs were met accordingly. His enthusiasm for Paris and willingness to patiently answer our questions. Thank you Hôtel Brighton for a wonderful stay in Paris!
