"Amazing retreat stay...Wonderful"
This resort is simply wonderful, beautiful, serenity and amazing place to stay. I think this hotel is best for retreat and couples to enjoy it to the max. This place is quite deep inside and is peaceful and quiet. If you are looking to enjoy happening places in Bali, this maybe not so suitable. However, my experience with Bulgari Hotel "thumbs up"
We came for a wedding and from the very first moment we arrived to being waved off by our most excellent butler Lanang, we were made to feel like royalty. This was our first trip to Bali and the bar was set incredibly high. The food, staff and location were all perfect. It's an incredible place - like no other we have visited. I cannot recommend this resort highly enough.
This is heaven. We had a cliff top ocean view villa which included our very own butler, who delivered our room service dinner and served it to us, very special. Service is awesome. Try the sweets 'mochi's' they are little pillows of heaven. We had breakfast daily in the resort restaurant, buffet selection is extensive. Sunset drinks in the bar overlooking the ocean is memorable and the service is excellent. I went there with my daughter but honeymooners would love this place. Private plunge pool, Bluetooth speaker in the marble bathroom, nice touch. Loved it!
"Great Place, Amazing Staff!"
Bulgari was the last stop of my 2-week long Bali trip. What a great way to end my very first Bali vacation! The moment I stepped into the reception hall, I felt at ease. The hilltop view was amazing. The checkin process was very easy. My villa wasn’t ready, and they arranged afternoon tea at the seaside bar for me to enjoy while I waited. They saved the best seat for me and 3-course afternoon tea was something to be remembered. Little did I know the best part of the stay was still to come. Once I checked into my villa, aside from the personal welcome letter, the customer service representative also wrote a note to thank me for my patience with a two jars of cookies and roasted nuts as a “thank you” gift. The view from the villa was breathtaking, infinity pool, huge bathroom. The next morning, I was having my breakfast at Sangkar, Bulgari’s Asian fusion restaurant. One of the waitstaff came over and chatted with me, and made sure that I got everything I needed. And the casual chat became a friendly conversation. Her name was Alice Yoon. She’s very attentive and knowledgeable. We talked quite a bit during the next few days during breakfasts. When I asked her if she knew some local attractions, she wrote a nice note with a long list of places she liked and told me their particular appeals one by one. Wow, even the concierge at other hotels were not this nice. This kind of personal touch was unheard of. At my last breakfast, we bid farewell like friends. During my dinners, I befriended with Hadi the restaurant manager, he’s full of local knowledge. he told me a bit about the hotels on the island, and how they evolved over the years. And then Juni, a waitress from local village. She taught me some Balinese and told me about the festival they were going to have. She even invited me to join them during the festival. I also enjoyed the SPA tremendously. Again, the service was impeccable. I liked the welcome tamarind drink, and they promptly delivered a whole jar to the fridge in my villa. Overall, the staff at Bulgar went way above being courteous and friendly. The treated me as their family and took care of me. That’s unique and different from any other hotels and resorts I’ve stayed at.
Bvlgari is simply an amazing facility, its layout and design is par excellence. Notwithstanding, the staff recognise that Service is their point of difference and they offer perhaps the best level of service I've ever experienced. GM Yuji Tanaka made an effort to meet us, understand our needs, and make us feel welcome- this friendliness carries through with his team. The food is amazing, not as fancy as some of the other resorts, but focused on quality produced cooked and presented in an authentic manner. Bvlgari is probably best for couples, notwithstanding, our 7 year old daughter was treated like a celebrity and formed a genuine bond with several staff - thanks Cynthia and Asda ;) Some staff do try to 'kill you with kindness' but I'd rather have that problem than the opposite approach. The boutique might also benefit from stocking more items that suit the resort lifestyle e.g. Only one pair of Men's sunglasses for sale . The Spa is prohibitively expensive, about twice the cost of other 5/6 Star resorts in Bali and other major resort destinations. The beach is a bit disconnected to the Hotel but the amazing views from each Villa quickly assuage any desires to leave your room. This is our second trip and we're already planning a return.
