Wow, das Hotel was ausgezeichnet, wir waren von allem total begeistert. Das Hotel, der Service, das Essen und das Design, wir können es absolut weiter empfehlen.Comment of L. Katarina , Switzerland the 2015-08-09
Wow, a beautiful Hotel set in the Verona Wine making region of Northern Italy. It was very quiet at the Hotel, but the Staff couldn't do enough. After a poor 1st nights sleep, due to the centrally controlled heating being turned on (time of year) the 2nd night was better as the Manager had switched the A/C back on. All I need now was a softer mattress ! The Laundry is relatively cheap, but no iron or ironing boards are allowed in your rooms, so added expense there. I ate at the Hotel and all the meals were very good, the eggs are delicious, as was the Steak. The Hotel is well positioned in the Region for trips further afield. Verona itself is beautiful for sight seeing, shopping or simply people watching. The ODD theme of the Art, may not be to everyone's taste, with several nude pictures in the lobby and almost everywhere in the Hotel, but equally there are other pieces of Art that are to everyone's taste. I highly recommend it.
"Great Place, Luxurious ."
Very nice place, Luxurious hotel, beautiful room and great staff. We came as a group and enjoyed the hotel and the facilities. The breakfest was very nice and the selection is great with a variaty of choices.
"Beautiful hotel, great location, weird receptionists"
This place is truly remarkable. It is a high quality art gallery with some of the world's leading artists on show. The building is remarkable, light fittings you never saw the like of in your in your life and a great but expensive restaurant with lobster spaghetti that will live on in my memory. But don't, whatever you do place too much store in what the receptionists tell you about whats good to see in town or not. They steered us to touristville. Verona is a lovely town and exploring its nooks and crannies is really worthwhile. But the tourist strip contains every glitzy retailer that you now find in every city - they should be banned. We had to get some hospital treatment while we were there. Te reception steered us to the main public hospital where after 1 and a half hours we went from 5th in the queue to 19th - I suspect a quality hotel should have on tap access to quality medical support.
"Weird but wonderful"
This is a unique work of art in itself. The hotel is obviously a labour of love although it is weird... beautiful sense of arrival as you enter a magnificent drive to the hotel. The reception staff are not the best so you have to be patient but if you are not in a hurry that is not a problem. The public spaces are stuffed with modern art, not my taste but certainly colourful and eccentric. The corridors are very bright, regular changing colours that really make it look like a child's vision of wonderland. The food is divine, excellent quality indeed and the restaurant manager is knowledgable on local wines. The risotto is really excellent indeed. There is a degustation menu featuring amaroni which is very good. Breakfast is good with a good variety buffet. The staff are young and friendly and whilst they are not the most professional they are a really good reason to stay.
"not to be missed"
this is a truly unique hotel and the whole experience is not to be missed. reminds me of the " grande beaudaupest hotel ".. the art is sunning and unique , the rooms fabulous the views .. the staff are truly outstanding and the experience is not to be missed . if you only stay in one hotel... make it this one.. you will never forget it.
